Pennant is one of the few players we've already got a brilliant song for.
Oh Jermaine Pennant You are the love of my life Oh Jermaine Pennant I'd let you shag my wife Jermaine Pennant I want curly hair tooo

"angry clogger who plays at full-back and kicks talented Premier League wingers" Wow, I guess he gets to see a lot more of him in his armchair than I do at the Brit. I've never seen him kick anyone or show any anger.

I've often heard Stoke's previous and successful direct style (when it was good not the last two years) being derided as a pointer as to why our national team could be suffering. I actually think England would be better trying to get back to those principals; as a nation we're just not very good at the slow paced, continental game and we are now caught between two stools and it's awful to watch. It is often said that the traditional English style isn't suitable to tournament international football but I'd argue this pedestrian, uninspired shite England have been serving up for a number of years certainly isn't helping us progress either. Of course I want to nurture our young talent and I want to see players with great technical ability who are assured in possession but that doesn't mean we have to play like Spain either. German football is being heralded at present (and quite rightly) but all they are essentially doing is playing a fairly orthodox system but with players technically superior to ours. I think the first step of our national team's progression is to realise what we're good at, set up to play that way and then develop the future star's technique. It starts at a very early age on the parks pitches Jamo Lads who can pick a pass and do something different don't get a passing glance whereas the lad who puts somebody up in the air is given a rousing cheer and told " that's what we want " Well actually it's not what we want and are paying for it Even park pitches are becoming a dying breed :(. Sad state of affairs.

I think he's world class. Apart from the odd mistake here and there. But in the footballing world he's still very young.
Slightly off topic, but something that annoys me is whenever he writes something on Twitter, theres always people from all over the world saying "come to liverpool" or whatever club. Can you really say "COME to Liverpool" if you live in Uganda?

I went see them in April. The dark edge was gone and it was mnore a Sabbath celebration than anything. The singer is a very good anti drugs advert! Yeah they were never going to be the same without Bill Ward on drums. I've recently read Osbournes autobiography. How he's still alive, i'll never know!

1. I've never hated a player more. Scummy diving racist cannibalistic cheating feigning aggressive cunt! 2. He and Liverpool go together like pea's in a pod. The name "Liverpool" has been dragged through mud thanks to him. You don't think history, the kop, fans, you think of that scumbag. 3. The comments below that video are fucking embarrassing. 4. Has he fucked off out of our country, yet? All that and Liverpool stand by him. Only for him to come out and say he wants out! Truly vile human being.

I think when considering players we all ignore what happened with QPR (including the manager). They had a brilliant squad. If we judged the whole of their squad just by the time they were at QPR we would have established that one of Brazils best keepers is championship standard.

I think it's safe to say he will walk before he's sacked. Whether its in 1 year to come or 10, we'll have to wait and see.

One of our media fans wrote an article in the Guardian saying he thought Mark Hughes had "the personality of a black bag blowing in the wind." Bob Dylan once said "the answer my friend, is blowing in the wind" So if Peter Coates thinks he's the answer, and Bob Dylan does, I'm happy!
