Hoilett because of age, but on a free SWP could be a good signing for us as well!

I wouldn't want SWP for free,he hasn't been any good for years. Didn't Hoilett always flatter to deceive at Blackburn ? And wasn't he truly useless at QPR ? A lot of hype over this fella if you ask me

Hughes needs to be very sure footed in the transfer market if only to put behind him past errors, SWP is too old and I remain unconvinced about Hoilett, so neither.

Shaun Wright-Phillips before he moved to QPR would have been good business for us, but he's well and truly finished now. Hoilett was tipped to go to a big club before QPR, and his value may have dropped, so now is the time to act.
Hoilett, an easy choice for me.

Hoilett scored 4 in Hughes' first 17 games in charge of QPR. Not a bad return, 8-9 a season from the wing.
Would take him immediately, pace, power, good on the ball, can finish.

Why would anyone possibly answer Shaun Wright-Phillips to that question?
It's like saying, "What would you like for your tea? A chicken bhuna? Or a rat carrying the bubonic plague?"

Any thoughts on those two? Wanyama looks a very promising player from what I've seen (seen him play some games in the Champions League on TV), but unsure if we are willing to pay that kind of money for him (£10M quoted in the press). He might be a success here and we could sell him for £20M in two years' time though! This Ba I've never seen play so I can't comment on him. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

Loic Remy please.
SWP is a little bag of shite. I've hated him since Rory kicked him/the ball at him, in our 1st season up

Shite Phillips was good because his dad kept telling people, who could be bothered to listen to his rantings, he was.

SWP nah, Hoilett maybe. However if i was Hughsey I would stay well clear of any player from my QPR era due to obvious reasons. A fresh start for Stoke and a fresh start for Hughes.
I haven't been on since Mark was appointed and would like to wish him all the best, I was very impressed by his press conference and can't wait for the season. Time to prove all your doubters wrong, we'll be with you (until Christmas at least).
Welcome to Stoke Sparky. Gooarn Stoke!

I think when considering players we all ignore what happened with QPR (including the manager). They had a brilliant squad. If we judged the whole of their squad just by the time they were at QPR we would have established that one of Brazils best keepers is championship standard.
