"He had left me on the bench for some reason or another. I can’t remember what it was."
I'll help you with that Dave. You were fucking wank.
The Secret 'Footballer' sounds like a completely unhinged fruit loop in that interview.

I blame...Pulis for failing to undergo a proper character/DNA test/survey before signing him
Lou Mcari told someone I know the day we signed Kitson that he wouldn't fit in at Stoke.

Not really the thing you own up to when confessing to an attempted attack with a pair of scissors.

He might have fitted in better these days with our new look ginger revolution. Although its good to see that our process of checking out players character is just as good as ever!

The only surprise in that story is that he got to anything in a box first. The feckless piece of shit.

And all that stuff about fraud, assault and blackmail, forget about it. The money was just resting in his account.

“I just wanted to help because I knew what it was like to be a newly promoted team,” he said. “It was on the Friday, we had trained and then I went into the canteen and Pulis was sat there with Tony Scholes, the chief executive, and a couple of other guys and, I should never have done, it’s not going to sound like a lot but it undermines a manager. “I said, ‘Tony, I don’t know where we’re going tomorrow, I don’t know where the bus is meeting us, whether it’s at the stadium or the training ground. At Reading we had a list on the wall so we knew exactly what we were going to do’. “This was my big mistake. He just looked at me like ‘who do you think you are?’ “From then on the die was cast. It was my fault, I should never have done that.” Refreshing to hear that from Kitson actually, I thought he was awful at Stoke but it's hard to say whether it was down to a lack of effort or whether it was just a very bad fit with him and Pulis to start with. If he was treated like that from just one conversation (which was a completely valid thing to ask IMO) then it's Pulis' fault it never worked out. Don't treat people like shit, it's really not that hard to be reasonable to people, treat people like that and it's no wonder they turn on you.

For me, the one thing Dave Kitson did that was positive for the club was provide an early warning sign about signing the wrong type of player for the club. He was supposed to be the marquee signing of the 08/09 season and would be the one to fire us to safety. In reality he was just a bit of a gobshite and I still fail to see what his strengths were on the football pitch.
However, it did press home the need to sign players with the right character to survive, your Abdoulaye Fayes, Etheringtons and Higgys.
I'm not surprised he has negative feelings for Pulis and probably the club as a whole, as others have said it just wasn't going to work from the outset.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Kitson did an article saying he didn’t actually want to sign for stoke anyway! And again he I’m sure wouldn’t have been signed by Pulis probably Scholes again. It seems very strange that this scenario keeps happening time after time even under different managers so what’s the common denominator here. In my eyes it’s the board/scholes signing players ever likely managers don’t want to play them !

James beattie's first goal for us, assisted by ethers, in scissor gate game was one of the most important meaningless consolation goals we've ever scored. It got him up and running and full of confidence. Kitson was a colossal wanker and if pulis hated him he was right to do so I'd say.

Quite impressive for the bloke not to see himself as a red mist person when he possibly attempted to attack and stab Tone with fucking scissors.
Utter cunt muffin.
