I wouldn't go that far, because certain players put a shift in and had a shitter with the ball. That can happen.
I can name three players that I wouldn't play again after that. Luckily, all three were subbed.

We have too many mercenary players. Happy just to play another year in the Prem and certainly not arsed about the FA Cup. 42 points after 28 games last year then fuck all to cheer since. Maybe Hughes is a mercenary too though? Perhaps it's all going to plan.

First time I've said it but he really has got to go hasn't he? As,(I believe), the first on here to say Tone had lost the dressing room, I think I can spot these things! What makes you think Hughes has lost the players, Momo, apart from us being quite crap?

First time I've said it but he really has got to go hasn't he? Agree with you sheik on that. You know when you see a team play, and think they are not trying as if to get the manager the sack/prove his inept.... Horrible thing to say, and you can dislike the post all you like but something is so so wrong at the moment out of view of pretty much everyone else. If we could end the season now & guarantee us staying up I would take it at a heart beat. Small changes now won't do. We have become stale & nowhere near the exciting team of 12 months ago. The perfect recipe for a shepherds pie & we have produce something made with dog meat

What makes you think Hughes has lost the players, Momo, apart from us being quite crap? That was 95 percent our best team against them with changes and lots of players didn't give a fuck. He's definitely lost them. They're fucking clueless.

Nah more like a handful of players who think they are better than they are and can't be arsed....step forward Shaqiri Imbula and sadly Bojan. Hughes has some serious shipping out and rebuilding to do in the summer

This is suggesting that the dressing room is united as one - I doubt that it is. However certain players might not be fully bought into the cause. They should be moved on.

Lost the dressing room Lost the key to the door of the dressing room Lost the map to get to the door of the dressing room So what are you saying? I don't think Coates will be rash, but it's January. Would he trust him with money? I expect he will give him 2 more games, and if it's still as poor as it has been, he might act. Personally, I think he'll stick.

I agree, but there are 3 players that seem would be suited better elsewhere. They are supposedly flair players yet create fuck all, and allow the opposition to walk through us, Hughes has no trust in them over 30 million spent on them, if we can get 20 back, then grab it. Hughes tried to get our name out their with these signings, And the best one of all out of them was free. Affely

I don't think he's lost the dressing room, I just think we had a team full of 'that' type of player. Too many Imbulas and Shaqiris, and no hard workers. If our first half team had a 2009 Rory Delap in place of Imbula, it would have been at least ten times better, which tells you a bit about the nature of the problem.
I suspect that Hughes, in his transfer dealings, has taken for granted the players that he inherited like Whelan, Walters and even Cameron. He's signed skilful players with little to no application. That's fine in small doses, but when you have a team full of them, you get what we saw today. This was his team, and it was weak, lazy and shambolic. It sometimes feel as though they hold our supporters in contempt. What's the plan when we have the ball, apart from 'you're a talented bunch, go do something'?
For the first time, I'm struggling to see what future Hughes has here. We need a massive overhaul.
