Just a quick one re Ty’s performance today. I’ve just exchanged a few messages with a Rotherham player that I’ve come to know and he said Ty was a nightmare to play against. Lightening quick and really strong.

I said I wasn't going respond on this board for a week as there's way too much club, player and manager slagging, but I have to respond to this. If he's heard any of that then he should have done more than cup his ears. I bet those that few youth clubbers that said it were that pissed that when he scored minutes later they couldn't even remember abusing his and looking stupid for it. I bet they players hearing, reading or hearing about things like this and other comments to players make them really feel like running through a brick wall when they play, not. I think it's pretty obvious he hasn't heard it to be fair. Id be surprised, in this day and age if someone didn't say anything to the wanker or wankers shouting that kind of shit. The front rows are filled by old people, disabled people or people with young kids in the main. Difficult for such people to confront pissed up/drugged up idiots

Todays away support was no different to home support. Quiet, frustrated, angry with audible boos and outright abuse of certain players

What lines were crossed and when? Let's see if you get an answer, because I didn't A few minutes before he scored he clearly heard some of the abuse being sent in his direction. A few examples for you; You lazy piece of shit You lazy black bastard (that wasn’t the only reference to the colour of his skin either) Did you have your leg amputated you useless prick Just fuck off out of the club in January you useless twat Aah, Tye, is your knee still hurting (in a mocking baby like voice) followed by “what the fuck has that pussy still got strapping on his knee for” This was all coming from the front 5 rows of block 3/4 and was on top of audible boos 3 or 4 times when he was involved in passages of play that came to nothing.

He did play well. The stick he was getting was ridiculous The bar is a ridiculously low one if you think Campbell played well today mate. What stick was he getting? Genuine question as I wasn't there and was watching on a stream. He gave it away sloppily a couple of times and he missed a good chance. He was still the only one to cause them any problems, he scored, I’m pretty sure it was him that win the corner that led to our 2nd goal. He was involved in pretty much anything positive we did. The sticks he’s getting is ridiculous and today crossed several lines at times.

That’s disappointing mate because it looked to me like he had a good game again. I’ve been impressed with him since the resumption. I would watch the footage before being disappointed because I cant see how anyone could be remotely disappointed about any aspect of it. What's the problem? I don’t need to watch the footage. I was right in front of him and I’m not remotely disappointed in him. The stick he was getting was laughable and the abuse minutes before he scored was disgusting. He’d clearly heard some of what was being said. I’m completely disillusioned with Stoke at the moment. It’s bad enough watching the shit we call football but sitting among the absolute cesspit that is a large swathe of our supporter base is even worse.

He definitely shushed the moaners. The abuse he was getting was ridiculous and was at its worst minutes before he scored That’s disappointing mate because it looked to me like he had a good game again. He was clearly telling the fans to make more noise and rallying support. Absolutely nothing to see there. Did people commenting negatively on this actually watch the game?? I can only guess they weren't. and if not, why are they commenting on it? He definitely shushed the moaners. The abuse he was getting was ridiculous and was at its worst minutes before he scored

Felt more like the Clucas one to me? Telling people to be louder? 100% this. Just seen it. Nothing story. TC often gees the crowd up in this way when other score. Move on... He definitely reacted to the abuse he was getting. He was right to do so in my opinion

Why should he? He’s once again taken dogs abuse from his own supporters when it was clear as day anything remotely good we were going to do was going to come through him. I’d have done worse than shush them if I was him. The stick he gets is laughable

We’ve played 3 dreadful teams and turned in little short of absolute dross.
The fact we found ourselves behind to such shite says it all. We are horrendous to watch. It’s abject

Campbell seems like he's always just playing at 70% of his ability. Frustrating to watch. Looks sharp to me though granted we’ve arguably got the worst seat in the ground to watch the game take place at the other end of the pitch

I just can’t agree. I think he pressed well when he wasn’t knackered which was about 10% of the game time he had. I actually think he was spectacularly mismanaged here. On the occasions he looked refreshed he was a good player but they were few and far between. He was flogged to within an inch of his life. But that was down to the manager. I think he was an excellent player for us and an integral part of our glory days. Days that seem soooooo far away now. Walters probably took a lot of flak as a result of that. He played even when form/energy levels meant that he clearly should have been dropped/rested. Playing him alongside Crouch probably also led to criticism as he took the brunt of what should really have been aimed towards Crouch. Those 2 should simply have never been paired together. I liked Walters initially but eventually gave him stick that should have been aimed elsewhere in truth.

Were we to fluke promotion we'd need to sign more players than Forest did in the Summer.
Souttar, Campbell and possibly Baker would be OK. The rest would need replacing immediately.

It was an appalling 44 minutes and we got lucky with the equaliser , hopefully it’s a turning point because we desperately need one if the second half of the season isn’t to become beat the drop . They deserve credit for the professionalism of the second half for sure but improvement not lucky breaks will determine the rest of the festive season results albeit we deserved some after last weeks decisions. As for the manager he’s a little to do to win hearts and minds as his demeanour tends to indicate results are tge only way he will do it , noetberonf with that but you need improving results The context to the win is just 6 shots on goal, 3 on target against a side that dropped two of their main and natural centre halves out of the squad entirely...instead choosing to play an auxiliary defender in Kal Naismith and an attacking midfielder in Andy King as two centre halves in a back four system. Take the win all day long but the context against the performance and opposition is a completely different story. I've absolutely no idea why but a raft of tweets from Bristol City fans have appeared before my eyes and it's fair to say their lot are an even more unhappy bunch than us. Pearson has lost the plot and falls out with a different player every week, hence fielding a back 4 with their two main centre halves not playing at all due to a fall out with the manager.

The wheels came off to a point under MON when Souttar got injured, we’ll continue to improve if he stays fit, that’s my take on it. I think he’s that important to us in terms of steadying the ship defensively, but also playing between the lines and getting us up the pitch quicker……. I’m still convinced had he stayed fit we’d have challenged the play off places Little point in sacking the previous manager were that the case?

He was never going anywhere. It’s the best job he’s ever likely to have and he won’t be giving it up willingly anytime soon.
He was simply waiting to make sure France beat Morocco so he could trot out the “we are so close, losing to finalists/eventual winners by fine margins” line.

Another positive game for TC.. ok he missed a sitter when through on goal near the end, but who cares it didn't matter. He broke up their attacking play effectively, played combatorially ( even had a square-up with one of them! ) and generally gave them something to think about all game. Good game for the forward line in general today in fact Hardly a sitter. He had to run the length of the pitch in the 89th minute

Robins TV was a prime example of how the club should move with the times. Two good and fair commentators, interviews, clips in the build up with a lovely bird hosting. Why are we so far behind clubs like bloody Bristol City? Yes we should all move with the times shouldn't we? I like listening to Denis Smith

I’m not saying he’s the answer but thought he had a good game today. That save in the second half where he saw it late was a lot more difficult than it looked. The one he grabbed at the 2nd attempt when their lad dummied it? Good save that and one which would unlikely draw much credit given it was straight at him

2 in 2. Confidence does wonders let’s see how he goes over Christmas…… Let’s hope he nets next time out n maybe makes some better decisions but when I think about it if most of the team made better decisions I don’t think we would be in this position We play him in a “back to goal” role where he’d clearly be utilised far better facing the other way, running the channels. He’s very raw but we’ve hardly helped the situation with him, or any forward in truth, ourselves. The supply line is beyond woeful

Well clearly he won’t. He only watches stoke as an opposition supporter now and would rather go watch Accy Stanley than come to watch stoke with me if Burnley aren’t playing. He’s lost to stoke. He’s a Burnley fan that likes Accy You’ve failed as a father 😆 No. Stoke city have failed him as a football club. 🤦♂️😂

That was a decent away performance. Had a bit of luck but they can't complain. Enjoyed it. Could easily have been 4-2 in our favour.. it was a scrappy game but it was great to see us win after going a goal behind. I had a great day in Bristol today and tonight I'm a happy man Remind me again when our other 2 shots came?

It’s not my ticket and I haven’t paid for it. Trust me it’s painful but it sums up the shit we’ve had to endure for too long. It’s bad enough for us adults. For kids it’s soul destroying stuff Going through tough years makes you appreciate the good times like the Premier league so the kids will be fine Well clearly he won’t. I can’t stand Alex Neil and the team is largely utter shite. Today was absolute dross . I’m delighted we won. You also slaughter Tyrese every single week and he’s about the only player we have worth watching along with Souttar. How do you square your mentality re Ty with the absolute drivel you’ve just posted seemingly criticising others? Judging the manager after such a short time in the job says it all really. The team that's dross isn't the team he's recruited. What the hell were you expecting? As for Ty every bit of criticism has been valid. Some of his performances for whatever reason have been excruciatingly bad. I’m not judging the manager at all. I just don’t like him so he’ll have to win me over before I give him plaudits for absolutely nothing. A couple of decent signings in key positions could change everything but for now I’m “jury’s out”. As for Ty nothing. Your criticism of Ty is no more valid than my criticism of Neil to date. It’s your opinion. No more, no less and your opinion is no more valid than anyone else’s

Have we really? It absolutely does not feel like that. I lack so much interest these days I kind of watch games on auto pilot. I never look at the league table and I don’t pay attention to the results of others outside of Burnley. Maybe them doing well masks how well we are doing of late? 😂 I thought you were a Burnley fan now anyway with that ticket🤣Incredible 🙄 It’s not my ticket and I haven’t paid for it. Trust me it’s painful but it sums up the shit we’ve had to endure for too long. It’s bad enough for us adults. For kids it’s soul destroying stuff
