Yeah I heard them. Idiots to a man. No ironic cheers for Brown? Laughable. Tyrese Campbell is the least of our worries. There are 9 others who should come under fire before him + an idiot manager and his coaching staff No but there were boos when he was fetched off Presumably because they wanted him to stay on? Why? He didn’t run around, his touch was woeful, he missed the easiest chance of the game, he was born offside and he made Liam fucking Lyndsay look like Beckenbeur. Brown isn’t a footballer. He’s absolutely useless and after improvement last season he’s worse now then when he arrived. Tymon? Seriously? Absolutely useless. My 14 year old plays same position for Blackpool. He’s better than Tymon now and am not even joking. Baker and Thompson? Wow. Wilmott, Fox? There are no words for how shit those 4 were yet we are at the point of ironically cheering Tyrese Campbell. The manager. The less said about that clown the better yet you come here and all you can do is criticise Tyrese Campbell.

Ty did some good things and was absolutely not deserving of the ironic cheers that greeted his departure. Singling him out above all others is just strange Obviously a lot of folk don’t agree with you,did you hear the cheers when he won that header? Yeah I heard them. Idiots to a man. No ironic cheers for Brown? Laughable. Tyrese Campbell is the least of our worries. There are 9 others who should come under fire before him + an idiot manager and his coaching staff

Brown was lucky he lasted as long as he did It was a toss up between him and the bone idle fucker up front with him and it seemed like the majority of the crowd thought the same judging by the reaction to both substitutions Ty did some good things and was absolutely not deserving of the ironic cheers that greeted his departure. Singling him out above all others is just strange

After they scored🤔not heard that for a few years. Also I think the crowd made their feelings known when Briwn was took off, then the cheering at the Campbell and Baker substitutions said it all Brown was lucky he lasted as long as he did

He’s done absolutely nothing. We paid a fortune to get him, we pay him a fortune to manage us and he’s absolutely hopeless. Listen to what Clive Clarke said post match. For those not able to listen Dave, what did he say? He tried his best to not reveal his true feelings and to blurt out what others in football feel about him but bemoaned the lack of creativity and ability to think outside the box when recruiting players and managers. Said he’s Jon’s man and we have to hope he’s got it right. Repeatedly said “time will tell” and “we have to hope”. Spoke of Ricky Martin being an unknown quantity, DOF from being an under age coach at West Ham

Powell is the only one prepared to be brave, to take the ball in tight situations and to play positively irrespective of how anxious the crowd are.
He can’t get in this team

Young? He’s 42 and been a manager for about 12 years already. 41 I take it all back. 41 not 42. He’s the 2nd coming of Pep clearly

He’s a great young manager who has already been promoted from the championship before. End of. Imagine talking shit about your own manager already, could only happen at Stoke. Young? He’s 42 and been a manager for about 12 years already.

I’m all for giving him a fair chance. Hopefully he’ll start to show something, anything, to give us a glimmer of hope soon. I’ve seen absolutely nothing yet. I see Rotherham are losing again…the one team where Neil gave an example of us playing well despite winning neither game against them 🤷♂️ To be fair, we should have won both of those games easily. If my aunty had bollocks she’d be my uncle

I don’t like him. His teams v us have been terrible. His record when staying a period of time anywhere is poor. I don’t understand why anyone, having got Sunderland moving in the right direction, would leave to join us right now other than for money. Our only good news story is the academy. I don’t think he’s the man to utilise it. He has an arrogance not befitting of his achievements in the game. The few people I know in football don’t speak highly of him. I desperately want him to do well. I very much doubt he will. He’s done absolutely nothing so far to change my suspicions/fears one iota. I thought he explained why he left Sunderland as FM has posted about half an hour ago🤔You may turn out to be correct with your thoughts on him but equally he’s got to given a fair chance to prove you and other detractors wrong surely? I’m all for giving him a fair chance. Hopefully he’ll start to show something, anything, to give us a glimmer of hope soon. I’ve seen absolutely nothing yet. He’s a student of the game. He did his coaching badges young in his playing career. He’s already proven to be an exciting and innovative coach lauded by both Mourinho and Ole. He’ll attract good players. He’ll develop younger ones. He’s a no brainer. Your views are probably shared by our owners and the comment above by someone else that we’ve been burned by the rookie approach with Jones. Well there is a rookie in the form of Jones and a rookie in the form of a Carrick. As I said let’s revisit this at the end of the season and see where both clubs are and how Neil and Carrick have both done. You seem to me that you’ve had a downer on Neil from the moment he walked through the door for some reason🤔 I don’t like him. His teams v us have been terrible. His record when staying a period of time anywhere is poor. Carrick would have been my choice. I said that before he took charge at Boro. He will undoubtedly prove successful. When we sack Neil, which we undoubtedly will in the next 12 months, I’d be gambling on Shawcross or McKenna at Ipswich, if they haven’t overtaken us by then. Why will he undoubtedly prove successful? He’s a student of the game. He did his coaching badges young in his playing career. He’s already proven to be an exciting and innovative coach lauded by both Mourinho and Ole. Well there is a rookie in the form of Jones and a rookie in the form of a Carrick. Edit - I also know someone in a senior role at Man United who can’t speak highly enough of Carrick (and McKenna) and he knows his stuff when it comes to coaches/managers

Which is makes the non consideration of Carrick even more unfathomable. A winner, a student of the game and one who has all the money he could need. He’s a manager because he loves the game and wants to be successful in whatever he does. Carrick has had a good start but Wilder had a better record over the same amount of games to start with so it mean’s absolutely nothing for me at this stage. He may do well or he may not but to compare a bloke that’s had a few games as a manager to someone that’s achieved 2 promotions as a manager is bizzare for me. Great player though but let’s revisit this when he’s achieved something as a manager(not a player) and not just a decent record after a dozen or so games Carrick would have been my choice. I said that before he took charge at Boro. He will undoubtedly prove successful. When we sack Neil, which we undoubtedly will in the next 12 months, I’d be gambling on Shawcross or McKenna at Ipswich, if they haven’t overtaken us by then.

He absolutely reeks of someone who came here for an easier family life and a big pay rise He does. I’d do the same though. I think he’s as good as what we could have got tbh but I have been disappointed to say the least. He does come across as he doesn’t give a shit with his attitude. IMO money has been the demise of this club as everyone seems to come for a pay day Which is makes the non consideration of Carrick even more unfathomable. A winner, a student of the game and one who has all the money he could need. He’s a manager because he loves the game and wants to be successful in whatever he does.

It’s more likely Dubravka has a permanent move elsewhere lined up but I am clutching at any straw available re our goalkeeper situation right now. The biggest straw of all is that Gary Mellor feels like the rest of us and swings Iversen our way as a result. Happy new year both . Dave 10 hours to go before Neil,, Ricky and co head for the job centre if we impose your perfectly reasonable deadline 😉 Anything beyond the FA cup fixture and heads surely have to roll?

Darlow definitely better than what we’ve got. He did well in premier league when Dubravka was injured but he hasn’t played in quite a while now. It could mean Castle have recalled him to loan him out elsewhere for first team footy It’s more likely Dubravka has a permanent move elsewhere lined up but I am clutching at any straw available re our goalkeeper situation right now. The biggest straw of all is that Gary Mellor feels like the rest of us and swings Iversen our way as a result.

Yes, yes, I was not referring specifically to the 'lack of bollocks' point, maybe I jumped on the wrong post. More that his role is to get what we have performing more effectively, whether that is through motivation, organisation, coaching, tactics or whatever. Sure he will get at least a couple of windows but it must have been clear to him when he signed that buying our way out of trouble was never going to be an option given where we are with FFP. You would imagine he must have thought that there was enough talent here already which if properly directed could at least make a half decent fist of this division. Or he just came here to triple his salary not caring what squad he inherited. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for AN and will judge on a couple of windows but it’s a possibility He absolutely reeks of someone who came here for an easier family life and a big pay rise

Dubravka being recalled to Newcastle maybe indicates Darlow is leaving. A return to the midlands May suit him? Could something with Iversen and Bursik happen? Iversen has to be pissed off at playing second fiddle to Ward The Iversen/Bursik swap plus cash deal would be the best all round. It might even re-ignite Joes floundering career. I've not seen much of Darlow recently is he any better than what we've got? I know he was the next big thing when he moved from Forest. Darlow definitely better than what we’ve got. He did well in premier league when Dubravka was injured but he hasn’t played in quite a while now.

If we don’t announce the signing of a goalkeeper tomorrow who can play against Preston on the 2nd, I’d sack everyone at the club involved in transfers Dave that’s going to be a decent queue outside the job centre next week I think you’ve more chance of Kate moss and Naomi Campbell knocking on your door at midnight semi clad to wish you happy new year That would be just my luck. I don’t fancy either of those two super models
