Yes today wasn’t brilliant to say the least but let’s take the positive’s out of it Unbeaten in 3 Come from behind in all 3 games Players coming back from injury 2 home games to come(I tried🤣) Souttar back(although not the best today)

Before Bristol City Benju was intimating 4 straight defeats During todays game he was talking about 3 straight defeats
Lots of improvement to do in all aspects of the game but 3 unbeaten with comebacks in each is worth chalking up a positive change
We will be underdogs v Burnley
Edit: I've spelt Benji incorrectly Seems fair

You can count on us to do things the hard way - like display a positive in the most negative way possible. I've never seen a club struggle so much just to do positive things, but okay.
Many of us said that coming back from a deficit was one of those little things we wanted to see. Right, that box is ticked. Can we move on to other things now? Like getting into a lead and then making it LARGER? Let's get that one done against Burnley please. Liam and Campbell - green light. Have em read Dr. Seuss's Go Dog Go! this week.

We’ve played 3 dreadful teams and turned in little short of absolute dross.
The fact we found ourselves behind to such shite says it all. We are horrendous to watch. It’s abject

It’s abject Every team in this league is dreadful, any team can beat any team in this league, our players turning up most weeks thinking we deserve the points before a ball is kicked is the problem. We will play well against Burnley on Friday, bookmark this.

It’s certainly not been disastrous but would feel a lot more positive if we weren’t continuing to struggle winning games like this. We could quite easily beat Burnley but it’s form against this sort of side that’s hampered us. We are generally shit against shit teams.

It looked to me like we created nothing at all at Bristol City and walked off with all 3 points.
Today we faced only 1 shot on target and remarkably construed to ship 2 goals!
Football is a chancy business.
Overall I would say we are not great and will be facing a 7th season at this level next August.

We are showing more resilience. And team spirit and more hard work They are the areas of clear improvement after the break Lots more to improve on but it isn't all going to come at once

In three abject performances (being kind). 🥺 Players coming back from injury….but not playing? I’m sorry I can’t share you’re enthusiasm for the demise (sunshine on the horizon) of Stoke City Football Club which is currently showing no “green shoots” of revival/progress whatsoever after a number of years of being expected to be “patient”. The patience bottle is empty.

If the players (and Manager) have got any bottle they should make Burnley play to our tune not theirs. we drew at Turf Moor so nothing to fear

The other side of the coin is as follows:
A dreadful Cardiff side picked us off at will on the break for a good 45 minutes.
We struggled to break down a Bristol City side with no real centre halves in the side.
We scrambled to a draw against a woeful side that has only won 1 in 10 games, with both of our goals handed to us on a plate by some ridiculous defending.
Yes, 5 points from 9 but the football we are watching at times is absolutely awful IMO and whilst you can appreciate it isn't his team, and it isn't, I'm struggling to see much improvement in our pattern of play outside of an attempt to play quicker and press higher, aswell as individuals. The form of our central midfield overall is a worry outside of a few good performances from Smallbone. Baker especially.
I'm desperately clinging onto the hope that the next two transfer windows turn it around for him and us because I honestly can't watch too much more of this.
Maybe I'm being unfair on this manager and maybe it's just everything from the backend of Hughes through to now that has built up, but I'm genuinely at breaking point here.

According to the Beeb stats...They had 12 shots and 5 on Target. We had 5 shots and 1 on Target so it was us who managed to score 2 goals with 1 shot.
Anyway 5 points from 1 home 2 away is ok. We were playing 3 teams all as desperate as us to vacate the lower half of the table. This league is insane atm every week you see strange results beacuae it is so competitive, yesterday Preston were ahead at home to bottom placed Hudds with 15 mins to go and lost. We need to improve thats for certain, we are no where near a play off side and this team needs 4-5 experienced players bringing in minimum. The Manager is going nowhere and frankly I am glad as I think he will turn this around.

I said if to be clear and let’s be honest the performances don’t indicate any progress. ‘To be clear’ you said a run of successive defeats is most likely, I can find the thread for you if you like? If we’d performed well and lost you’d have been on here saying the performances don’t matter and results are what matter. I actually think there has been a modicum of progress since the break as well.
