Just been down the club shop and saw Sir Tony and Uncle Peter looking very pleased with themselves - TP went back into the Ground through the side entrance behind the club shop with someone who I didn't recognise (new signing?) and Uncle Peter got in his car with a big smile on his face and drove off after shaking hands with TP and the unknown guy. Also, the silver and black Audi's were still there - haven't they been there since early this morning?? Was Coates carrying a box of Mr Kiplings Lemon Slices?

Well, with there appearing to be not much happening on the public announcement front from within the club today, its looking like one hell of a busy day tomorrow!
Make sure you've topped up your credit on your phones for those official texts folks!

Does that post come in English mate? ;D I particularly liked 'Arismedia' Also, I've got the image in my head of Reid and Whitehead blabbering away laughing, with Arismendi not having a clue what their saying.. ;D

Just had a cheeky root through their messageboard... Found this little gem: 'If y'all love Stoke so much, why don't you marry them? They've had the same trials and tribulations we've had in the transfer market, Pulis has been in the papers complaining about it. Huth is hardly proven Premiership quality, and while Tuncay perhaps is, we've already got Geovanni, Ghilas and Barmby for that role - we had other priorities. Fair play to Stoke, but let's not cream ourselves worshipping them.' ;D ;D ;D

There will be NO official announcments today, as the FA is shut, so players cannot be registered, deadline is 5pm tomorrow for this reason : thats what I have heard, dunno if its actually true mind Why would the FA not have any kind of man power in today though!? Get the deals done as they come through, rather than having a back log tomorrow to catch up on. They'll end up going on beyond 5 pm and into Wednesday instead, because they weren't arsed to put a few staff in on Bank Holiday!

He can go there. He won't improve them defensively, and their doomed if he's the long term replacement for Turner.
I'd wish him well though, good lad is Leon. Always gives his best, good professional.
Rather they snapped up Sonko though! With el Orange one, being quoted in the press .... 'Sonks is a top draw defender....End of'..

He could be. Better potential than Pulis Jnr, put it that way...

Surely the jokers at the FA realise that today is the day before the deadline ends, and they would of set up the necessary man power to deal with transfers on the bank holiday.....
Ok, maybe not!

I'd happily take him now. He's clearly got potential, but just not good enough to step into a prem first team just yet. He can come and learn off the likes of Tuncay and Kranjcar.....

10.22 Hull City manager Phil Brown is talking to a Premier League defender ahead of the likely departure of Michael Turner. From SSN - i hope this is Sonko. PLIBT! PLIBT! PLIBT! I think if this happened it may just beat Tuncay as being the best deal for the club... ;D Especially if they give us any more than 2 million.

Kranjcar in a Stoke shirt - I'd bloody love it! Its not beyond us, the Tuncay deal makes me believe! ;D

Dave - with the exception of Spurs, how are our chances of snatching Kranjcar from the other clubs? Do you think someone like Tuncay's ability and creativity could lure Niko to join the SCFC revolution of continental football....?

Why would Spurs want James? Gomes is now showing his potential, and Cudicini (a Redknapp signing) has proved a more than capable second keeper - and a better age than James.
Typical Redknapp I guess...sign every fooker available.

Also, it was Higgy who blocked K.Jones close range angled effort, not Shawcross.
