we wouldn't need loads of "K's" though because you wouldn't have "kenwyne" and "jones" on there.

Dave has said we were looking at a player from Pompey but that they are very difficult to deal with so very unlikely.

I wonder if Redknapp may put a bid in now Modric has broke his leg?
He's said he's moving on a Bosman next year. So I bet they'd be tempted by a sizeable bid. You'd probably think his horizons stretch beyond Stoke City - but you could've said the same for Tunch. Interesting to see if he's in the Pompey team when it's named this afternoon.

Maybe lots of Stoke tops have been snapped up by people with the letters K and J in their own names?

Kranjcar's way too good for that team that's playing against Citeh now.
He's the only player left from their Charity Shield team that started just over a year ago, and I'd be very surprised if he's still with Pompey at the end of this week.
Whether he would come to Stoke is a different matter, but I wouldn't have thought that it's beyond the realms of possibility.

Thats what I thought Paul, but the fee in question was said to be 9m - is that beyond the realms of possibility?Edit: After Nugents glaring miss, I certainly hope its not him

You'd think £9m would be absolutely unturndownable. But I can't see anyone offering that figure for him with 10 months left on his contract?
