Why has he gone to Portsmouth on loan,a club on the way down more than likely ? He is far too good for them. Surely other clubs must have been in for him....I'm surprised Arry doesn't rate him ! He would have been perfect for us

Who would you drop to play Jamie O'Hara?

Arry has sent him for first team experience i think. I'm sure just before the loan deal was announced it also said O'Hara had sign new deal at Spurs till 2013, so he must see him as one for a year or so down the line.

Who would you drop to play Jamie O'Hara? He's better than any of our current centre midfielders....I'm not including Tuncay as I see him in a more attacking roll

Probably redknapp doing them a favor for pinching all Pompy's best players from them.

O Hara is a poor man's Whelan, I'm sorry but the only thing he has going for him is that he's on Spurs' books, he's not great at all. He only plays in the carling cup so i don't know how you think he's better than the likes of Delap who might i add has been simply awesome this season, best player on the pitch against Sunderland.

I wouldn't have minded O'Hara to be honest, decent hard-working midfielder who can break play down, I'm not saying he'd have come to Stoke and have been guaranteed a first-team, It'd have been good competition for Whelan, Whitehead and Delap though IMO.

Harry rates O hara very highly, but as said at the moment there sbetter players at the club, he needs games to mature....and o hara himself is desprete for first team football
Spurs and Pompey have always had links polayers going to and from each other...
maybe it was a favour from harry for taking Crouch, Defoe and also him leaving...does it really matter why

He's allowed him to go, to get first team experience & when the deal ends is going back to Spurs, as he's just signed a new contract and like some of you have pointed, Harry rates the lad highly. Would be a decent signing to be honest, but I suppose he's not over 6 foot, big or black?
