Everyone criticising Cundle seems to have forgotten he’s only just joined the club and that Burger started in exactly the same way. Have some patience.

No doubt he's a talent but certainly no stamina No stamina? Definitely looked the opposite to me in other games. He just kept finding reserves. He’s one of our only attacking players with 90 minutes worth of stamina!

Could’ve taken Hoever, McNally, Baker, Cundle, Vidigal and Mmaee off in fairness. I don't see what Cundle brings to be honest, early still but not quite sure what he is, or offers? Still very early days with him. At the moment his inclusion has disrupted the rest of the midfield but in Schumacher we trust and all that. Cundle was neat and tidy enough in the first half.

Hoever is a good player but doesn't have a specialist position, enough pace or enough grit. Very frustrating to watch.
Our centre backs are both so poor with the ball at their feet and look dodgy when remotely isolated. I'll be amazed if either of them make it long-term at this level or above.
That's three defenders and the other one is Thompson who is still learning the position and doing OK.
We look good in possession, need more of a spark up top but at the back look shaky as anything under any counter-attacking pressure.

He’s going to get in again isn’t he?
The rest of the Republican candidates look like a pile of shite and he didn’t lose to Biden by much even after the previous years of incompetence.
Politics is a total joke but reflective of society at large.

I saw a similar video about the city of Stoke and the chap creating the content was really positive about the city. What was clear, was how nice and well spoken Stokies are, much like the chap who he mentions was at the St Mirren game. I no longer live in Stoke, haven't for 10 years but did for my first 22 - I like to describe us, with a jokey angle, as the "friendliest racists in the country" obviously a bit of a dig in there, but the city is full of great, friendly people. I've moved north, and the famous northern friendliness doesn't compare to Stoke. Having lived in Stoke for the first 18 years of my life and Cornwall for the last 18 I can confirm the Cornish are in fact the friendliest racists in the country.

Guys... I just read all your comments here... Sorry, it's a football fans forum and now there is a full-scale war in my country, but I can't hold emotions, honestly. You are so great, guys, really. Thank you for thinking about us, for remembering me and all other friends here in Ukraine. The comment by Pricey about "cheap public transport" brought me back to 2011 and unbelievable atmosphere in Kyiv with lots of beers and fun and jokes before/after Dynamo-Stoke match. Good times, happy days. Thank you for supporting us, brothers. We must always remember it. Britain is truly Great! 🇬🇧🇺🇦 I remember looking at Independence Square on the TV in 2014 during the Maidan Revolution and thinking about walking around there in 2011. And now this shit ten years later. Fuck Putin. I’ll see you over there for a match and a beer once all this is over.

Blatant obstruction and a “clear and obvious error” if that’s the crap they’ll come out with to justify not overturning it.
Goalkeepers are protected too much but this isn’t an example of that. Adebayo deliberately puts himself into the keeper’s path because Luton were desperate for a goal and he got away with it. I’m not even sure he obstructs the keeper like that if it’s half an hour earlier. Was last chance saloon.

Loan players..well, they're not really part of the team going forward are they unless there's an option to buy and they're wanting to make the move ultimately. It's a bit like a temp coming into the office. I know it's probably all we can do to try and get some young talent into the ground but hasn't got the same frisson as actually having SIGNED someone to hopefully become part of your team for the future. Then there's that tricky bit where , just when you've incorporated them in to the team, usually at the expense of one of your own players who was hoping to get a run, they're recalled by the parent club and your left picking up the pieces and starting all over again shoe-horning somebody else in. I know I'm a bit of a misery but it gets my goat and we seem to have so many of them that we rely on. Agree. But when all the loot is at the top table it’s tricky.

Schumachers a stokie, he wears a stokie hat We’re going to get promoted, we’re going to attack. He brought his coaching team, and non-negotiables. And just to piss of Plymouth, we’re signing Luke Cundle Best thing I’ve seen on here/Rivals in about 25 years of service time.

Humphries is favourite. That's a surprise It’ll be a great final if Littler continues in the same vein and Humphries keeps up the momentum from last night. Although Cross averaged 103 and his checkouts were decent last night...still got blown away.

I’ve never played to any level but I used to like 10s and 15s to checkout. It felt natural for a right hander. Although you need a very high checkout % or a tendency to only miss outside for it to make any sense long term. 5s as a back up isn’t terrible but you’re still in dodgy territory and obviously missing 15s inside is awful so you won’t see anyone doing that. if i didn't want 18s i would have gone 4 16s thing with 18s if you miss that and the 9 you have to bust or throw a 1. a waste of a dart Littler essentially wasted his 1st dart with the 16 but it is worth it if like you say he's comfortable with 10s There is no such thing as taking the piss with your scoring these days. Darts is bigger now than it is ever been It is entertainment and sport and the players are better than in even Phil's day. Gone never to return are the days when one player won nearly everything. Ive said before on here darts will be a better sport once phil stops monopolising it. With that in mind traditional out shots are mostly there but these guys will throw what ever is comfortable to them. If you know you can hit the bull most times why not look out for 170s Also: Littler is 16 so might not go 16, 10s forever. Neither 18s or 9s have ever felt comfortable for me though. Like you say: it’s personal preference, especially at his age. Whatever keeps him in flow. Definitely not taking the piss though.

I wouldn't say it's taking the piss though as he's extremely comfortable on double 10. A lot of guys don’t like double 18 because of the double 9 if you miss.

Baker fits the Schumacher plan to take lots of shots from outside the box; he just has to do the rest passably and he could find himself back in the team full-time.

Hoever Mcnally Rose Thompson Baker Burger Tchamadeu Junho Vidigal Mmaee confirmed by Stoke? Concerned to see Baker protecting a backline, but Can see him going with that line up. What's happened to Leris? Leris has concussion from his own player kicking him in the head the last time he played. Stoke City classic.

I think Pearson probably still gets in that team if fit. Although based on his teams so far I think Burger and Laurent would be Schumacher's preferred more defensive midfield two. I don’t want to ever see Laurent play for Stoke again. When is his contract up? 2025 is it? I think Schumacher quite likes him.

Decent line up. If we want to make progress then goals have to come from midfield. Baker offers us that Pearson doesn't. I think Pearson probably still gets in that team if fit. Nice to see Baker get an opportunity, there is talent there, sink or swim time for him. Telling that he went for him over DJ Johnson is such a plodder. Presumably was more dynamic in years gone by otherwise I have no idea why he was signed. At least we know Baker has a decent shot on him.

Bloke’s a dinosaur now isn’t he?
Thinks head of recruitment and manager should come as a package but that’s now widely acknowledged as being the fast track to total chaos. See Stoke City 2018-2023.

Just scrolled back to when I joined the thread and asked about cheap public transport into the city centre. 20p each way for a knackered old bus but no one who spoke English, going dark on the way in and a crazy afternoon traffic bun fight which saw me arrive at the airport late for the flight only to find 100 Stokies still queuing to go through security. What an adventure that was.
Den is a bigger Stoke City legend than our last five managers put together.

You get the feeling with a lot of managers that they’re scared of losing. Schumacher isn’t one of them.

Bonham 6 - everything he had to do (not much) he did well. Hoever 6 - Schumacher trying to get him to play the Trent/Stones role in the first half and didn't work. Some suspect defensive positioning but decent enough overall. McNally 6 - looks like a decent enough basic defender but as with Rose, very little footballing ability Rose 6 - see McNally Gooch 6 - always up for it isn't he? Makes up for a lack of quality Burger 7 - Could be key under the new regime. Looked to play forward passes and did most things well. Laurent 6 - better than under Neil but hasn't got Burger's ability or eye for a pass. Got about the pitch well though. Leris 5 - tries hard but just not a very good player Johnson 5 - too slow and limited. Hopefully just a squad player from now on. Vidigal 5 - too lightweight. Gave it more of a go second half but very little quality. Mmaee 5.5 - first half 5, second half 6. I still think he could be a 15-a-season player but needs to get a couple so his confidence returns.
Junior 7 - injected loads of energy and his directness gave others space Bae 6 - looked great for 10 minutes when he came on and can clearly play. Needs to have a consistent run in the central role. Thompson 6 Haks 6 Baker 6

Further to the above, I actually think Leris has less talent than pretty much any player in the squad. Guy can just run but he's not a footballer at any sort of decent level.

Both were better in the second half but neither look physical enough for the league. Vidigal actually looks a bit scared of players hitting him. Mmaee I think we persist with for a bit longer, mainly because I think he's a better player, but in the long term he probably isn't the answer.
