No coincidence that they are Championship songs and last night was a hardcore following! Loved hearing 'When I was young, I had no sense....' now that is old skwl. You clearly don't understand the many intricacies of the political and religious spectrum in Northern Ireland and that us singing that song is highly offensive to my Irish, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Disabled, Gay, Black and did i mention; Irish friend . Nah, being serious I've always loved the who are the people/we are the people chant. I honestly can't remember if it was a dream but i'm sure I can remember it being sung from stand to stand or at least 1 side of the boothen to the other side. Even if it was just a dream, are we a smart enough bunch to get it going stand to stand? just picture it... Boothen-------------------- Away, John Smiths & Sentinel Stands (i know names have changed) Who are the people--------------------We are the people Who are the shit -------------------- They are the shit C C ---------------------------------------- I I T T ---------------------------------------- Y Y Then everyone starts with the best team in the land. Could even make it one of them songs that just keeps going for 5-10mins by either repeating from the C C part after 1 round of best team in the land or mix it up and throw in other songs before and after. I'm pretty sure it was a dream come to think of it but in it we started with Delilah > We are the people > Goarn Stoke/Goarn Stoke > When the reds go marching in> We're the best behaved supporters (When we win) > When I was just a little boy > We'll be with you > Then for some reason when the reds go marching in but it was really slowly done (like that time when we did it more recently and eerily as hell) > then i woke up You get my point though. But we need to start doing stuff with gusto again like the Steve bruce is a wanker with a big fat fucking head part of kenwynes old song. If we raised the volume up again I think we could match some of these european teams who dont sing much but they chant and it sounds both amazing and intimidating as hell. I also miss the first year we came up or maybe the second year and every single time Arsenal touched the ball it was deafening boos and whistles, made hair stand up on the back of your neck. Thats what we need back. Sod the FA and their lets all be soft and pink and friendly. Lets have the Bearpit back and mix our lovely stylish new football with sheer aggression and energy generated from the famous 12th man. Sick of hearing away fans asking where our famous atmosphere is, half the time I agree Oh and Forever Throwing Bottles was one that sticks in my head for no reason Didn't mean to write that much i just got excited with the thought haha! Deffo need the bearpit atmosphere back, such a great shame I don't get to the matches any more, me and my mate Banksy pissed up would sing all match..... Ahhh great days :-(

Stoke City 43 Watford 0 Butland to score a hat-trick from his own area and Philipp Wollscheid with the other 40, finishing off by fingerblasting Quique Sanchez Flores's missus by the cornerflag whilst he beats Valon Behrami to death with his own boots. Glorious post! But surely they'll be a hat full for the little genius

The biggest attraction for those people who aren't already classed as fans is surely success! When we beat Chelsea and on with our stampede to silverware, the name Stoke City will be as popular as.... Swansea :-(

Speaking with my engineers hat on. It was not a difficult problem re. the R. Trent. Many simple solutions were available and they were (are) not particularly expensive. The only problem was SCFC at the time did not have a pot to piss in and so it was never an option. We should have stayed put for a few more years. The Vic still had a good 10 years left in her. We did not need to make that decision at that time. However, I suspect our heads were turned by Mr.Modwen and the City Council offering some grubby incentives and we were at the time the football equivalent of a crack addicted whore looking no further than the easy cash in front of us. Moving was a big mistake and if I had Coates' cash I would move us back there tomorrow.I know this is 99.999x% not going to be the actual case, but just a small part of me thinks it's possible that the hesitancy with expanding the ground over the last few seasons is because Coates is biding his time for safe-standing to become legal so that he can return us to The Vic and rebuild a modern version with safe-standing. It would be a greater legacy than winning an Fa Cup/League Cup/Europa League treble IMO. Obviously this is just me daydreaming but I think it's a lovely daydream all the same. We can all but dream hey

I'd be tempted to give Moseley & Shenton a start, maybe mixed with Bojan & Shakira a good mix

Having been away for a few weeks and just catching up on the last couple of games, it's definitely time for some changes. I'm a big fan of Muniesa but he seems all over the place and I'd definitely bring Wilson in on Saturday to steady the ship. I'm sure he'll come back stronger after a break. I'm by no means writing him off. I just think the experience of Wilson will sort a few of the problems out. Joselu wasted his opportunity at Arsenal too and it's time to throw Bojan back in and revert back to our best formation. The experiments haven't worked but credit to Hughes for being flexible and open to change but the little magician must be ready now. As for my personal favourite, Glennda, he was embarrassingly poor at Arsenal. If he survives it's simply because we have nobody else. Our biggest mistake was not getting the Jedinak deal done on deadline day. I'd maybe bring Sidwell in alongside Van Ginkel. I think the tide will turn against Leicester and the front 4 will finally click. Butland Johnson Cameron Wilson Pieters Sidwell Van Ginkel Shaqiri Bojan Arnie Diouf Really looking forward to the game after about a month away. Gooarrrnnn you rip roaring potter!! Drop a player who is the mainstay of the team after one bad game......... Erm NO!

This guy could definitely be as big a star as Bojan for us! A lot of people have been on his back after just one or two games, but we have to give him at least as much time as the little man.
