"You have to wear trainers for my type of fishing."
Got a two pound Trout for tea. Seen a recipe involving Pernod, anyone tried it? But it's pigs cheak in sherry tapas for starters so not fussed about a boozy main too.
Any good Trout ideas from the recipeers?

Failing that, you could lightly poach it for 15mins, take it out of the water & peal back the skin to reveal the peachy flesh. Sounds like pornXx Edit: if poaching the water needs to be boiling then turned down to a gentle simmer before placing the fish in the water

Clicked on the thread hoping to see neatly trimmed 'lady gardens"
That's the only type of 'trout' I'm interested in.

Kept the trout simple, thyme butter and lemons, stuffed and baked whole. The leftover fish mixed with philadelphia and parsley made an interesting breakfast pate on toast. Nice.

One suggestion was to fill it with a jar of lazy boy Chilli and ginger, bit of overkill for me. The pate was great. I like trout in scrambled eggs with dill too.

Keep it simple Homecooked chips, garden peas and a dollop of cold ketchup Beautiful You missed of the inch of batter Oh no!!
Just a nice piece of fish itself - no need to encase it in artery busting shite!
Something wonderful about a nice piece of fresh salmon or trout on the end of a fork, dipped into nice cold, tomato sauce. EDIT - its better and easier if its at least dead.
