Bad question my arse. Is he blaming Hughes as Sparky walked towards him and The Simple One chose to avoid him and walk around the are avoiding eye contact. Shame to waste too much time on this after a cracking game

He's a great character for the game but his ironic clapping of Diouf and no handshake have put him down in my estimation . Win, lose or draw a handshake is required

I quite liked Coleman - he was the first of the 'dramatic' commentators, unlike the preceding clipped RP type BBC ones who didn't really add much. He did become a bit of a parody of himself eventually though and that Keegan quote doesn't even make sense! Motty was ok but should've given up ten years ago. All ITV commentators are utter shit. Brian Snore was so biased in favour of London clubs. And for a goal he always said " And it's in there". True he was but great when Stoke won away. Coleman was also very good. Who was the commentator that covered the East Anglia games? Was it Gerald Sinstadt - not sure if spelling

Aussies should have belted Thailand but are struggling up top at the moment. Good solid team apart from a key striker. Disappointing they didn't automatically qualify for the WC but Japan were never going to do the Aussies any favours against Saudi Arabia having already qualified themselves.

The Belle Époque classic is another option Whilst that video is completely without fault and I thank you for posting it, I still think the way forward is acid. Long live the music from the 70's and 80's

Wimmer will provide competition for places in the team and players know that 1/2 poor performances and they are out Zouma will leave at the end of the season and Shawcross is the wrong side of 30 with back issues so won't be around for many more years. So instead of potentially needing 2 starting CB's next summer Hughes has got the one he wants now to bed him in for a season and then to only need 1 next summer Good post that makes sense

I can't see too many teams scoring 4 against these centre backs whatever combination we play . Zouma ,BMI, Shawcross , Wimmer or Cameron.

He's agent Bould. He works for Stoke City making sure that Arsenal's defence is usually not fit for purpose when they visit us. Haha

I think we all knew a draw was likely. It looked bloody hot out there. My only criticism is that in the 3 games we haven't really created many chances.

Sorry if it's already being discussed elsewhere. What did you make of it? A lot of pundits, Garth Crooks, particularly, have been criticising the decision. I don't often find myself defending Mike Dean, and he certainly made some mistakes today, but what choice does he have when the league dictate to referees that going to the crowd in celebration is a bookable offence? Referees can't start picking and choosing when they want to follow the rules. Should the rule be changed? Harsh but justified if that's the rule otherwise why is it there? I guess Sterling was the only one booked as he led the way for the other players to follow. The other thing is we weren't there to see the crowd surge pre goal which could be bordering on dangerous. If the city fans weren't on the pitch then it wouldn't have been an issue and no yellow card

Less reliance on Pulis players (who seem to be spooked by his godfather presence) might give is the edge this time. Jese, Choupo and Zouma at least will be thinking, "Who ze fook eez zis Pulis guy?" Plus, Fletch will have inside knowledge of how he will set up and where the weak points might be. Good call

I played for Stafford Rangers reserves when they first started a team. I remember after every match we would all get in a steaming hot bath. Not very hygenic as it went from clean to filthy brown in 30 sec. I remember getting subbed with 10 to go and getting an early hot bath when clean . Real luxury. Funny what you remember. That and hot tea with plenty of sugar at half time

They were ok in the 70/80's. Managed by Roy Chapman, the father of Lea ( I think?). Correct. Stan Collymore probably their biggest name although they have had players such as Tony Brown ( ex Albion) and Trevor Dance ( ex Vale) on their list. FA trophy winners in 78' I think and a great FA cup run that even saw them play against Peterborough United at the Victoria ground in the 3rd round. Hopefully they can do a Burton Albion and one day climb the football league.

The Arse defenders challenge on Pieters was far worse than Scneiderlins tonight. The reaction of both 'injured' players was similar except the cheating Aquero got straight back up again and Pieters went off injured. I haven't heard Wenger comment on that tackle but I guess he probably didn't see

When will the dumb fucks ever realise it was a total 100% "ACCIDENT".....it's happened in the past and it'll no doubt happen again in the future!!! 🤔 There's no way on this earth that Shawcross went in maliciously and with the intention of breaking Ramsey's leg!!! 😴 Fuck me, Denis smith must hold some grudges!!! 😒 Agreed 100%.
