Terry is very pro Pulis and wants him back it's very obvious. His agenda is becoming tiresome. TC is pro Stoke City Football Club end of.

Bayern, why the f**k would the LEGEND that is TC be jealous of Arnie who for the record is in my opinion nothing but a show pony. He did absolutely NOTHING for us today, absolutely nothing! TC is bang on the money with his comments and has the class and the credentials to deliver them. I don't know but reading opinions like Yours makes me think Stoke fans don't deserve a Premier League side. It's really starting to piss me off. The notion of flair and football seems to have skipped the majority of Stoke fans. It really is depressing. Bayern, I was brought up on flair players in the 70's such as Terry Conroy, Jimmy Greenhoff, Alan Hudson etc etc etc and Arnie is not fit to lace their boots nor is he fit to lace the boots of his NO10 predecessor Ricardo Fuller who was a legend personified who apart from his silky skills and wonderful goals, actually gave a shit and despite the opinions of some fans, actually put a shift in! We're maybe slightly better on the eye when things are going our way but once they're not we have some gutless characters in our team along with no real shape or defensive system. The players have not got a clue what their jobs are defensively, not a Scooby.

I haven't even read the link but John Rudge is an arse hole who has absolutely no affinity for Stoke City whatsoever. Another whose opinions are tinged with bias, self preservation and a ridiculous notion that both Pulis and himself were victims of their own (10 years of continual success) at Stoke and Vale respectively! What utter nonsense.

I thought whelan sured up the midfield got stuck in and and did all the dirty work that n'zonzi is incapable of doing! Thought last 5 mins in the first half he gave the ball away a bit but didn't deserve getting subbed! And for palacios of al people...don't get me started on him!

I know everyone will slag him off but in all honesty I thought he put a cracking shift in today! As ever work his socks off and showed a bit of quality sending arnie in on goal. Can't believe the abuse he gets he is the heart of the team! And I also can't believe why whelan got subbed off at half time!

If we lose 5 of the next 6 home games and win the other Hughes will have delivered exactly the same return as Pulis did in our home games in 2013. Things might not be going as well as we would like right now but they are a long long way from being as bad as they were last season. Does anybody honestly think that Hughes is going to come anywhere close to matching that appalling record? How can people who were totally supportive of the last manager and his diabolical recent record be getting their knickers in a twist with Hughes now? BM How about having a look at the first half of last season and the first half of this season and let's see if Hughes can deliver that superb record shall we? I would predict that he'll get no where near it and then in years to come we can compare their individual records and see just how they really do compare and whether or not Hughes can achieve cup quarter finals, semis, a cup final and of course Europe along with a relatively comfortable few years of survival. Mmm............................................I wonder

If you want to chuck 'goals per game' stats around, and I think it's still too early, then you do need to recognise a rate of about 1 goal per game under Pulis has turned into 0.5 of a goal per game under Hughes. And you think that's a fair comparison given the variables like length of reign etc? It'll be interesting statistically re relegations won't it? Let me see. How many times has a TP team been relegated?..............................................................Hughes? One and a work in progress!?

Oh we got the ball forward alright Usually an over hit long ball that went for a goal kick or straight to the opposition keeper Mate, I am not doing the old Pulis v hughes thing anymore because there are too many mardy bastards on here. The worry is the here and now. If things don't change soon we could be in deep shit. We are not putting right the mistakes of previous games and in some cases we are getting worse. We're already in the shit and in my opinion we're going down. The fact of the matter is that over the last 5 seasons we ALWAYS beat the teams around us FACT! Now we don't look like beating an egg. The passion, the hunger, the intimidating atmosphere has gone. I will continue to say it - Coates made a big mistake in letting TP go and I think he'll pay for it big time. Hope I'm wrong!

92 goals in last 98 games says everything you need to know. Goal scoring has been a problem that tone never got to grips with either. Our current manager an outstanding striker himself clearly rates none of Tony's purchases in that department. Trouble is he isn't going to get the financial backing required to change it enough. Cos someone's already spunked away the financial backing on strikers that can't score It was the last government's fault, not our responsibility....................................

we are going down... thank you denise coates who knows fuck all about football and has been born with a silver spoon, and the crawling twat who is our chief exec scholes (aka moxey) and that cuntin player spotter who has never played the game, you have transformed the club in 1 season from a hard bastard won't lie down club to a come and give us a going over whenever you want bank roll.... i am disgusted with our football, energy, fitness, attitude and overall determination....we have lost away (as before) and drawn at home ( where we win usually)and at this rate we will be in the bottom 3 by christmas fuckin shite stoke...shite deserve everything we get I couldn't agree more. I'm not ashamed to say I thought it at the time and I think it now - Coates made a big mistake in getting rid of TP. I always said be careful what you wish for. The club's being destroyed before our eyes. Have to admit that I drove past Coates's car after the match, wound the window down as he was about to get in it and started chanting PULIS PULIS PULIS!!! Childish I know but just couldn't help myself.

Who are we, what is our identity? Great question owde. We don't have one anymore! I have never felt so down about my team or so disconnected actually. For me TP , the players and fans were one. That vital ingredient called togetherness has disappeared and I don't see it returning personally. Kills me to say it but I can see us going down.

I'd prefer it if he'd crawl back under that stone from where Gunnar rescued him all those years ago. Leave this football lark to people who have a clue. What a foolish person you are. TP is the greatest Stoke manager of all time. (And yes I was brought up on the great Tony Waddington!)

Hang on, dodgy at the back? We had an off day defensively (more Bego than anyone in my opinion) at Arsenal. We've conceded three and four there before so it's not a massive shock is it? Other than that we've been as solid as ever really. Yesterday's winner came from us and involved a jammy deflection, other than that they never had a sniff. Hardly a dodgy defence. That great team Norwich could have had two no sooner had we kicked off. Agendas Werrington, how very interesting> You didn't have any agendas with TP of course did you? Funny how whenever we lost with TP here he was clueless etc but Hughes......................amazing isn't it!

I really like how (because posted by morons with tp posters on thier wall) Fulham and Norwich are now "the worst sides in the division", just to prove their petty, axe grinding, agenda ridden points. Pathetic Fulham and Norwich are two of the worst sides in the division. And of course you don't and never have had an axe to grind against TP have you Jones?!!!!!!! Mmmm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Funny how convenient axe grinding is isn't it.

My pleasure sir. C'mon Stafford, give the guy a break - and stop shooting yourself in the foot. I just can't stand him mate. Obviously I hope he does well because that is what is best for the club but I can't just change my opinion of him just because he gets a job at our club. It just isn't my nature. I am happy to put my neck on the line and can not be 2 faced. Stafford you echo my sentiments exactly. If I'm honest I'm still gutted TP's gone and although I hope MH does really well, I can't get over excited at the prospect of him as manager. TP was arguably our greatest manager and yes I was brought up on Waddos team of the 70's but TP loved Stoke City, cared, was incredibly passionate and is class personified. I believe Coates made a big mistake in getting rid. As for the Jones - Shawcross bust up, Ryan's a legend and if it does come down to a relegation scrap I know which players I'd want with me in the trenches and unsurprisingly and unashamedly it would be those players that are sticking up for TP rather than the gutless faceless twats slagging him off.

Agreed Stafford - MH certainly is not fit to lace TP's boots! It is early days but I'm concerned at our lack of fight, our lack of fire in the belly, our lack of leadership both on and off the pitch. It was so, so easy for Norwich today. I fear for us if we get into a dog fight at the wrong end of the table because I don't believe a lot of this squad have the stomach for a fight. I am not embarrassed to say that I was a 'be careful what you wish for' brigade. Wow, the over reaction of the day award goes to... You! Time will tell if it's an over reaction but tbh after watching that shite, it was quite a measured and considered reaction!!! However, let's hope for a much improved performance and result at Fulham.

Pulis has gone, its time to let him go from your hearts. I think the point that one are two people are making is that if TP was still here, I believe there would be absolute uproar on this board with people claiming he hadn't given youth a chance or for example Cameron Jerome enough game time etc. The truth is neither were good enough full stop and guess what - TP and MH share the same opinion, the difference being one of them gets slaughtered and the other......well no one says a word. Funny that.......................

Only one person to blame... Tony Pulis. Erm..... TP doesn't control the purse strings my friend, Coates does! As I've stated before we have actually spent relatively very little in the last few windows - peanuts in fact. TP got 8m last august, 2-3m Jan. you talk crap!

I guess this will give people more opportunity to put the boot into Pulis again. His comments highlight precisely the reason it was time to move him out. Football is a multi million pound business these days and like it or not clubs have to run as such. Pulis has proven and now admitted that he's not up to moving into the modern times. Agents, chief executives, scouts etc. are a necessary evil in today's game. Pulis's old school attitudes got us into the Premier League then kept us there. He is just not the man to take the next step and move into the modern sphere. His no nonsense stance to a lot of the shit with modern football is admirable to an extent but unfortunately will not achieve long term financially sound success for a mid range club like ourselves. He should be applauded for his achievements but equally so should the board for acting before things went properly tits up. It's not sticking the boot into Pulis It's stating relevant facts about the subject being debated
