Close to the corner flag. Within 10 seconds we had played the ball back to Bego This just summed up our entire game plan today - backwards and sideways wherever possible. I felt really sorry for Crouch today. He got no service or support Substitutions today were hopeless I take my hat off to those who travelled today? I was shouting at the TV at that point. Unbelievable! I'm thinking just launch it into the box, get bodies in there and see what happens but we clearly don't play that dirty way anymore. We're now so cultured we throw it backwards into our own half and all the way back to BEGO. At any level of football in the 90= min there is only one thing to do! Disgusted!!!

1) Time is needed to turn a mostly inherited team into the team you want. Some of us realise that.. Oh shut up! That team out there today reflects the manager (MARK HUGHES) full stop.

And.....take him off and stick a hungry young fast forward on.......for the last 5 mins of a cup tieĀ You couldn't make this shit up The bloke you laud over never did that so what's the difference ? The bloke you accuse him of lauding over did more for us in the FA cup than any manager in our history. We were shite today. Two incidents that anger me today were the N'Zonzi through ball that should have been but he didn't have the guts to play it and G Cam's throw in the 90 + Minute which he unbelievably chose not to launch into the box and we ended up passing it back to our own half before losing it! Under TP we had a right go in the cups and of course had great success in the Prem. Sadly MH will take us down.

Reminds me of Tony Pulis, maybe that's the Stoke PR way, just like we will have this Stoke long-ball tough tackling, long throw boo boys tag for however long thanks to good old TP, maybe that is why we're are struggling to sign anyone? or move forward? He doesn't remind me of Tony Pulis in the slightest. Deluded is a very good description! Maybe it's time for MH to start taking some responsibility and for you to perhaps move on and not blame our most successful (along with Waddo) manager ever......

It was there today... the players that he spent almost 100 million on, who were utterly pathetic and who couldn't score against a ragbag of players Pulis inherited. Never mind fucking flags for him... he should hang his head in shame. OS. You stupid stupid old man. I thought you were better than that. Mark Hughes is the Stoke manager in case you haven't noticed. He's the one who should hang his head with shame. He's taking us down. Meanwhile the great Tony Pulis and I mean great, is doing the business for Palace. As I said last season - be careful what you wish for.

You really are a tool aren't you. Maybe that describes you not a certain Stoke legend who managed a ..............................................1-0 victory away from home to move his team out of the relegation zone. Not bad for a so called 'Nice lady parts' kind of guy. Grow up. I've never lived in a plastic box in the shed so I would have to disagree with you there. Plus the fact that it would be impossible for an inanimate object such as a claw hammer or even a junior hacksaw to reply to a post on a football forum, this should be enough to tell you that I indeed am not a tool. Oh and i suggest you read my reply to Stafford again and look at what I was really getting at before you start throwing insults at me Fair comment. Happy Christmas! We Are Stoke!

Having had one or two drinky poos and witnessed the Atkinson debacle up there aswell as being rather sensitive to all things Tony Pulis (the man is an absolute legend!) I perhaps missed the irony! They are probably the ones we never even tried to hit for over two years prior to this season You are a boring twat Werrington. Bigger barn doors are needed now under this idiot. He will never achieve a tenth of what TP did - but if he does I'll be delighted.

Great to see the Palace fans getting behind an inspired TP performance, what a contrast to the Brit! And when exactly was the last inspired TP performance you saw at the Brit dickbrain? And they got relegated Chelsea 7 ( seven ) Stoke 0 Stoke 0 Chelsea 4 The list goes on but I conna be arsed Selective memory is alive and kicking on here Yes and you are one of the biggest culprits .Your selective memory disorder is all about the negative's of our last manager. Bizarre how you cannot bring yourself to say one positive thing about arguably our most successful manager ever. Mmmm...........selective memory in full flow! The difference is of course.................................the list of positives goes on but......I can't be arsed.

History re writing at its finest, "we would've never surrendered like we did on Saturday under pulis" really? You're the one who really likes to re write history aren't you Jones. We never stopped fighting for the course under TP. That is why we survived for five years. We had a team spirit, players and a manager who cared. Interesting that Hughes spouted that he wanted to keep the discipline, hard working, stick together principles of the old regime. Funny that because I haven't witnessed too much of that under him. Hey ho, one year ago today we had beaten WBA away 1-0 and were 9th in the Prem on 22 points................but I'm sure you'll find a way of rewriting that little bit of history too!

When we lost 0-4 at home to Chelsea last season, with Huth and no excuses, that hurt a lot more than today. It was not that long after the victory against Liverpool, and I seriously expected at least a draw against them, and certainly not the abject capitulation that I witnessed on that winter's day. I wasn't expecting anything from today, against an in form Everton which I think have an outside chance of a top four place, and certainly Europa League. Forget today and move on. We were always going to get a thumping off somebody during our 'transitional season'. You couldn't be more wrong in my opinion mate. Last season v Chelsea we could have been a couple of goals up before they scored. Two unfortunate own goals, a wonder strike and a bad day at the office was the truth that day. Remember we had gone almost a year without experiencing a defeat at HQ. Today we were out fought, out played and gave a gutless, passionless shapeless performance, like so many performances this season. I'll say it again. The manager is clueless and the players do not know there jobs full stop. No shape, no system and no identity!

The gang of 3 that wanted shot of TP was Scholes,Cartwright and John Coates. Denise Coates not that intrested in the club truth be known. The Betrayal started when Pulis came back from shea's permit hearing he had expected Erik Pieters deal to have been sorted and was hopefull of news of a couple other targets, he soon realised the rug had been pulled under his feet.He could have walked then but stayed to make sure we were ok . So his staying up bonus had nothing to do with it? His bonus had nothing to do with it - TP resigned last January but was persuaded by Peter to stay until the end of the season

To concede three goals in that manner isn't what we have been about. Really Mark, really?. And yet TP was accused by many on here of being delusional. What about the 3 goals we conceded last season in the abject surrender and defeat Let's go back to those days You couldn't script this bollicks There were some bad days with TP, however Werrington, there were a hell of a lot more good days than bad under TP, proud days, incredibly unbelievable days that most of us will treasure forever more. You just keep talking shite and stick to your own little agenda and don't let the facts get in the way.

You sound like a Tory MP - it was the last government's fault...................Whatever shape TP left us in , we're in a much worse shape right now. Shapeless, gutless and toothless. Players wanting transfers ,defeat after defeat , disharmony in the dressing, getting torn new arseholes byVilla Wigan and countless others and let's not forget " Pig gate " Add to that the lowest scorers in all divisions TWO years in the bounce Yep it was in great shape Are you another who is trying to re write history ? No rewriting of history Werrington. TP wrote himself into the SCFC history books. I wonder what Mark Hughes history will read like..........................................I can't see stability, great cup runs, FA cup finals and Europe on the horizon, but you never know. Hope I'm wrong.

Do you think we were in good shape at the end of last season? We weren't in the best of shape, however we got the results we needed when we needed them. We had bottle and fight and passion in the end, tho' not pretty. Right now we have none of those qualities and a manager who seems to lack passion and tactical awareness along with a big dose of naivety thrown in. Hope I'm wrong but I can't see anything but a Sunderland victory next home game.

What was the score in this fixture last season? 3 - 1 with Owen scoring in the 90th min. 9 players involved today were also involved last season. Yet a 3 all draw isn't acceptable today !! Whats going on? With respect that is overly simplistic arguement. What is not acceptable is the giant white flag we waved second half! Total shambles. Pathetic!

PC must regret listening to his daughter and whoever else. We can't go on like this. It often falls to the supporters to necessitate change and we need to put the pressure on Hughes on Saturday. From bits & pieces I hear, PC took a hell of a lot of persuading to let Tony go and as he said we'd never go down with TP in control. Hughes was the wrong choice IMO.

Three goals away from home, tell me the last time Pulis did this? Pathetic. Tell me the last time we had the second best defence in Europe, looked like we had some kind of shape, organisation, were hard to beat, disliked by most clubs in the Prem because they didn't fancy/hated coming to Stoke, worked hard, had players who would die for the shirt, showed some passion and rarely looked like losing at home........................................................................................Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... None of the above under Mark Hughes. Three goals away from home, don't make me laugh. We were a shower of shit. Three goals or not we'd have seen the game out at 2-0. We're going one way very quickly and it aint up.

A managers job is to breed confidence bit for done reason we are just truly dreadful. You're right - it is his job to breed and build confidence. Then only to see the players not being able to complete simple 5 to 10 yard passes. You tell me who is at fault thereā¦. Let me give you a tiny clue - it aint Mark Hughes. Let me give you another tiny clue - It most certainly IS Mark Hughes fault and his responsibility. We have absolutely no shape or system whatsoever. As I have said many times, the players have not got a clue what their job is defensively in this manager's system. Whatever you say or think about TP's Stoke team they knew to a man and as a team what was expected and exactly what their role was within it. Bring back the cage!!"!
