He doesnt seem well liked on this messageboard but I think he hardly puts a foot wrong defensively.
On top of that his crosses have been excellent and he has a number of assists now.
Hes not a world beater but he a solid enough left-back, ill give him some plaudits

I've been saying the sane over the last. Couple of games.. Gets slated for playing out of position.. But he's a Lb, and a more than capable one at this level

I think he’s just spoken about like what he is really, a middle of the road sort of player.
Some will see the negative side and accentuate that but on the whole I think most people seem ok with him.
He’s done a decent job on the whole and this ability to cross he’s found in the last month has been a welcome addition to his steady defensive work.

He's a solid championship left back, no more no less. Given the recruitment pool we were fishing in, I am happy with his contribution thus far.

I like him. He’s done a decent job and, like every other player this season, seems fully committed. We need to hope he stays fit because we have no alternatives to play left back if he were to get injured.

The criticism (it is not abuse btw!) comes from his sloppy distribution which has been a feature, some suicidal passing under no pressure
But I agree he's generally working out to be a very solid Left Back and those crosses have been pearlers, so more please yes.
At Wednesday he had very good spells and very bad spells. He was fans Player of the season one year and was absolutely slated during another, very vocally from a lot of fans too.
Its worked well for us so far though.

Solid.
Which is a compliment, we've been crying out for that sort of performer week in and week out.

He’s solid defensively and his delivery into the box from deeper crossing positions is superb. He’s also head and shoulders above anyone else who’s played left back since we let Pieters go, which probably has something to with the fact he’s an actual left back.

He needs to grab a goal from inside the box. Headline writers dream. Preferably as a result of the opposition defence failing to pick him up: Stoke Winner Notched By Morgan Free Man

He should be one of our least controversial players, in as much as, to my mind, it's extremely obvious what he is good and bad at.
Defensively sound. Offers a good cross. Abject passing.
I have doubts that he could be part of a really top Championship side. However, he is solid and I'm certainly not agitating for him to be dropped or replaced at the moment.

He's about what I'd hoped he would be - and he seems to be reproducing his later Sheff Weds form
I am worried what we'd do if he got injured though - which must mean we're looking for another body who can play LB in a four as a bit of a January priority.
Wouldn't think he'd play Tymon, McClean or Clucas there, which means he currently has no competition at all.

He needs to grab a goal from inside the box. Headline writers dream. Yep. If a tap in off his willy hits the net, the headline will be “ tap in at the back post from Morgan’s organ”......

He's played well at LB and has put a series of cracking crosses in.
He is not a CB or a wing back.

He needs time but I'm sure he will be one a real asset in the future. There aren't many players who haven't improved since MON came here and he seems like one of the more driven players so no doubt he will improve also.

Good defender, doesn't make many mistakes and seems a good sort. Good value for money and we haven't been able to say that about many signings over the last three or four seasons.
