Maybe a bit controversial - but maybe Tymon and Verlinden are the 2 that are most expendable that teams would have some interest in now - if we wanted to create even some marginal space on the wage bill? Just can't see any interest in any of our £25k-a-week crew. Wouldn’t surprise me if Verlinden was loaned out..... It'd be more of a surprise if he wasn't! Wouldn't be gobsmacked if he went permanently If he can't get on the pitch now, hard to see it happening a.) ever or b.) before he's proved something on loan to MON.

Verlinden will move this window I am sure if he can. His body language in the U23'S suggests he ain't interested.

Nixon claims Blackburn are interested in Pickering from Crewe.
Seems a no-brainer at less than £1m. Wonder what we've got planned there? It's almost as pressing as additions up front

No way Allen should start. We need two DMs because Reading are on a six game winning streak and Stoke haven’t won in five.

I take it she won't be reading this Bit of Lea & Perrins will liven it up ...and a bit of fiery jack in the shorts will sort our strikers out

Glad Fox is back, a really good signing for us thus far. Steady Eddie For me Fox's best games have been the left side of a three at the back - he's had a couple of mares at left back. I've been impressed by Norrington-Davis and given the choice I'd take him over Fox at left back. Having said that it's great that he's back and we can continue with the same shape rather than be forced into a change. Hopefully he'll take his chance and make it hard for ND to get back into the side.

I agree RND is better suited to the left back position due to his pace an attacking play, but I don't agree to the statement that Fox has had a couple of mares. He has been steady or good defensively in all his games in my opinion. He struggled a bit in the first half against Derby, but that's about it in my opinion.

RND has made more mistakes in his however many games than Fox has all season.

RND has made more mistakes in his however many games than Fox has all season. I agree that defensively, there is a big difference between the two in favour of Fox. Fox also has a great cross from deep. With RND, if we signed him, he would likely be my first choice however. He will hopefully gain more experience defensively, but he is pretty reasonable at getting forward.

I would love to have both left-backs competing for the one place.
Glad Fox is back he has been a very good signing.

If we signed him permanently I fancy he could also challenge for a place further forward on the left, I certainly would be happy to see him signed up in the summer.

Reckon RND would cost a lot tbh, maybe it's money out of our reach unless we sell Clucas or Allen and Macca

One obvious mistake, it's not a bad rap sheet There’s been a few for goals and he should have given a blatant peno away against Watford I think? He’s better going forward for sure but you can tell he’s still got a lot to learn.

My recollection was he started ok at left back but didn't really do much going forward, got moved into a back three and played really well, moved back to left back and had a couple of very poor games - it stuck in my mind because up to that point he'd been fine. Having said that he played well at left back just before his injury and I don't have a problem him playing there and is certainly a better option than changing formation - unless for tactical reasons. It's actually good to be in a position where there is genuine competition at left back and that Fox is going to have to play well to retain his place after ND's ban.

Attackingwise I tend to agree, but I think he actually had a couple of assists if I remember it correctly. Still I though he was solid defensively in all games apart from the first half against Derby as said.
