As stated in his radio interview before the Blackburn game the recruitment process for the latest manager is just the same as it’s been for all of the others.
Absolute fucking arrogance from the person responsible for appointing one dud after another. If you keep on doing the same thing over and over again why the fuck do you expect different results Scholes?
But I guess Scholes didn’t appoint himself did he? He didn’t stick with himself through every diabolical decision did he? So he’s not going to sack himself for utter incompetence either is he?

It's about time the board started to realise our true feelings.
Inept wankers to a man, the lot of them.

Scholes said in the Q and A earlier this year that our recruitment structure is similar to that of most clubs but with the distinction that we’re more “manager focused”. That literally means its not similar at all, but does give the board the convenient scapegoat they need so there’s no requirement to look inwardly at what the problem may be. As we’ve seen after Hughes, After Rowett, After Jones and probably before long, Michael O’Neill.
That along with FFP which punishes the ambitious clubs of course! So much so we’ve been able to assemble the most expensive second tier squad ever eh Tony?
I generally think they believe it’s 1960 or something and that keeping fans in the dark is the thing to do, rather than having clear accountability at every level.

The life is sucked out of us that we are just as complicit by quietly toddling off after another shit performance. For some reason and I don't know the answer, but people do not seem to have the heart for a fight any more. It's a slow lingering malaise

I think the latter is more likely they'd need our financial help via season tickets etc especially if FFP does limit our spending in the near future

BM He gets paid based on his successes in terms of his budgeting targets. Thus, he was rewarded for going it cheap in the prem and "cutting the cloth", my guess that's why he handed out 5 year contracts... It saves money and more for his pocket. He now seemingly gets rewarded for cutting what is inevitably his mess, and for his running of the vin which is a complete and utter shambles. He had no footballing initiative and with him the club have and continue to display no AMBITION. He is a cancer, that is for sure. Useless board, useless CEO, crap matchday experiences, crap stadium and a crap team to match. Deservedly so, 200m+ and 120m a year down the toilet, great job guys. Great job.

A few at the back of the Boothen chanted it but I'm not on about the amount of people that joined in just the fact it was even attempted, they weren't trying to sing it at the end were they! Gouranga.

The crowd IMO should have concentrated on continuing to get behind the team they'd been fantastic all afternoon. Gouranga.

It was embarrassing
Save it for whenen we are well beaten if for the end of matches (win lose or draw) Not when we have played well and only a goal behind.

If people have the belief that Scholes should be shown the door (and the majority do - clearly) then its fine to voice that opinion at any time of the game in all most all circumstances.

I believe he should go, potentially it could do wonders, but the timing was embarrassing. 3.0 down, go for it full blast. 2.1 down on the back of a good performance? No not for me, that's the time the team needs support. At the end of any game, yes please.
