But we don't tick his boxes, which is a good thing. He wouldn't come here.

Everyone knows that though, he’s turned the job down 3 times.

Problem is we've offered him the job in October 2017, Jan 2018 and May 2018 - and it hasn't happened yet.
Suppose he may just be desperate enough now, but we aren't as attractive as we were in the summer and he wasn't interested then.

I'm convinced he'd take it for the right offer now. He isn't going back to the Premier League anytime soon, and no manager wants to stay out for long.

On the other hand, he might think that if he can turn this team around his status might be boosted enough for some Premier outfit to come for him ...?

Also less pressure and expectation now given the pile of shit Gaz has dropped us in.
He could ride in and be the savior

Moyes would come given the right incentive. Money to spend on players and massive bonus for getting us up.

It wasn't too long ago since Stoke fans were singing "Fergie touches boys, so does David Moyes". Wonder if that's got any bearing on it? Same as why Steve Bruce might avoid us because he's a "Wanker with a big, fat, fucking head"?
Unlikely that it would actually put them off of course, being professionals, but still.

Time of year when Prem League chairmen start pulling the trigger. Would possibly make sense for any out of work manager with some sort of pedigree to hold tight & see what comes available.
I think Moyes would be a real coup for us.

Moyes would also be Uncle Peters man, for Moyes to accept the role he’s going to have to wrestle control back from a John, sack Cartwright, keep Scholes on a very short defined leash and give Moyes complete football control.

He's been offered the job in much better circumstances than we are in now and said no. Don't see him taking the bait now!

Will someone explain why Moyes is the chosen one ? other than making Everton one of the most boring teams around what has he done (perhaps Sunderland was a dream)

Can we please step away from the same handful of managers who play the same boring football. They're all job from one job to another after about 12 months when they fail. This attitude is why the club is in this position.
We got fuck all to lose so lets take a risk and bring someone in with a philosophy that fits the modern game, not has been dinosaurs.

I don’t know who would be the answer and I don’t believe our owners would have the answer.
I’m not excited by moyes as he’s more negative than rowett
Think I’d stick with rowett until may if moyes is the only alternative

Moyes has had three abject failures plus one OK spell at a club who decided not to take him on a longer contract. I wouldn't be inspired by him or his style of football which is kind of greyishly dull.
The club needs a kick-start, something to inspire, not tolerate.

Moyes didn't want the Stoke job when it was a much more attractive job than it is now. Whats changed? Dull as dishwater to boot.
