Sorry but Moyes would be bad call he cant take teams up. The man has been a Premier League manager for virtually his entire managerial career. How the fuck do you get promoted from the Premier League?

How the fuck do you get promoted from the Premier League? I donât post, but Iâve had a drink. When was the last time David Moyes needed to average 2points per game? Itâs one thing keeping a team up and settling for safety every season, but we need to average 2points a game for promotion. Can these managers who are survival experts in the premier league switch to winning games week in, week out? Attacking, winning football has changed since they needed to do it. I canât be arsed to google it, but Iâm sure that a very good West Ham side only went up via the play offs, and were lucky at that with big Sam in charge.

How the fuck do you get promoted from the Premier League? he's been a premier league manager for 66% of his career and since managing ManU has a win percentage less than 30%. He's a busted flush....

Neil Warnock is like Phil Collins a steady Eddie middle of the road c, I despise them both, but would happily sing their names currently. What I would hate, is to replace the current manager (few other words were considered) with a manager who knew how to win 15 years ago and have spent the last 15 years staying up. Attacking football has moved on.

When was the last time David Moyes needed to average 2points per game? That's the doubt I've got with him, he's never had to deliver that sort of points tally for a whole season. Can he do it? Possibly but I think I'd like someone who has already shown they can do it. We can't afford to mess about this time and take any risks.

His win percentage since Man U is less than 30% in a lot of games in different leagues and with plenty to work with. He's lost whatever "skillz' he had.
His career has a worrying trajectory. We already have a man capable of just about keeping us in the championship (and I am being generous) so why the clamor for this guy.
He hasn't stabilized any club for over 20 years. And we need a person capable of getting us into the playoffs THIS YEAR.

Said all along big Sam for me but either way make no mistake first priority is 5 more wins and thatâs exactly what these will be saying , you fucked it up m give me time , control and the same money as my predecessors and Iâll make a go of it whars very worrying is Nixonâs view is 2 of the 4 donât agree and thatâs before the dreaded transfer teams input m what a mess

Lambert and Rowett have been denied that extra bit of quality needed. Lambert was truly hung out to dry, we were in desparate need of a striker but he was given nothing, itâs partly his fault in that he was too nice of a bloke and didnât demand what he needed - but then he really didnât have much time. Rowett has had plenty of money to spend, some good signings but itâs still not enough for what was required. I think we needed to cash in on more of the bigger players in the summer but we didnât make the wholesale changes required - but again, itâs hard to do that in one transfer window. Moyes could do a job here no doubt, but Iâd still give Rowett until the end of the season, he can still turn this around.

Out of Moyes and big Sam,Moyes for me. Big Sam would be a good shout in the short term, maybe he could get us up through the playoffs this season,,but would be off when a bigger club came calling. Moyes May or may not get us up this season, but I think he would be a better long term appointment,he could build a decent enough squad to keep us in the Prem. when he gets us there, given the time and money.

Moyes would be a brilliant appointment provided that he was given the power and influence he had at Everton; in control of transfers, youth set-up, more or less everything.

I know from near enough every objective measure and criteria that Moyes is an excellent candidate for us, so why do I find the link with him so underwhelming?

Because he is just another proven failure, but so was Hughes and he was good for a while. Hughes had to work with our current back room staff and we can only guess at any problems there regarding transfers etc. Moyes, with a change behind the scenes would have a great chance to stabilise the team and get us back to The Premiership imo

For me yes. Think he might do a good job. Would prefer Jokanovic though. Moyes failed at ManUre and failed spectacularly at Sunderland. Do we really want to risk our immediate future on a man with such a calamitous past? Man Utd? Have sacked supposedly âworld classâ managers since and youâre surely not trying to suggest Moyes failed at Sunderland. Sunderland have been a basket case of a club now for a years, itâs been a managers graveyard. The two two examples youâve used are extremes!!

We need a manager who can take control of the club. In a sense get me players A,B and C and when they have signed up, let me know and I will sign. Lambert and Rowett have been denied that extra bit of quality needed. Pulis was lucky with crouchy height and finding Delap could throw the ball to the net. Ricardo, odemwingie and Pennant abilities.ETC. Rowett did, I believe, walked due to the new contracts for our defense and came back. On match day the manager is dependent on his players. With a bit more quality in the team we may be would be a few points better off. With the late window after the season had started we were already off to a disadvantage. Rowett is only 2 wins short off the play offs . Who fault that.? . Odemwingie was a Hughes signing

There is no sign of a plan there, it's a mess. Regardless of candidates for his job, he needs to be out the door asap

Sorry if this a double post Reading Wiki (I know) it shows that Moyes really is a football man with games played and his relatively good track record in management. The blemishes on his CV being his time in Spain and at Sunderland. I doubt if there is anyone who posts on the Oatie who would be in a position to post a fair assessment of his time at either club. IMHO. Moyes would be a good fit for us if he came as a D.o.F and his direct reporting line was to the family. If the services of Cartwright were to be retained he could report directly to Moyes. Taken from Wiki his managerial record to-date Attachment Deleted

I honestly donât give a flying shit anymore I honestly donât, we can debate all day about whoâs done what in what league and what they bring to the table with styles etc.
Itâs obviously a poisoned chalice whoever takes the reigns and given the circus behind the scenes the clowns will always take center stage and wonât change believe me.
In a previous job I worked for a father/son long established businesses in North Staffordshire, in truth Senior was a nice enough bloke and although old school and some very, very odd statements now and then I tolerated his ways and went out my way to get some very good business for him over the short time I was there.
Junior with family backing was earmarked to take the reigns and a blind man could see it was a disaster waiting to happen, penny pinching here and there, customers complaining and spending on high end stock that was never going to sell, eventually it went down the pan and it was funny to hear the excuses afterwards for example current climates etc etc.
I can see nothing but a disaster coming to SCFC

It's a pity the daughter, in ours, doesn't want to take control, she's real driving force allowing daddy and brother to 'play'!
