She wasn't top of the recent Forbes Rich List for women. She wasn't even the highest earning Stokie-born woman. (That is an amazing stat - North Staffs is the place to be born if you want to be a very rich woman) However, she was in the top 5 in the world, which is an incredible achievement. The difference with Denise and Bet365 is the rate at which their profits are increasing whereas, for many on the rich lists, their wealth has plateaued or is receding. This means she is only going to get higher and higher on all of these lists. She could outbid any football club in the world if she wished to, but I don't think that will ever be on the agenda. Let us just be glad that we are where we are. If the Coates' Family had not taken the club back when they did, I fear we would be looking up to Vale and Crewe wishing we were in their league. She is the highest earning stoke woman the other one is a bird who’s from stoke but married a Swiss billionaire pharmaceutical firm owner Yeah, Yeah pharmaceuticals Swiss cover story to explain away all that Nazi gold they stashed away.

I heard a rumour a few weeks back that it was Denise who was lobbying for Hughes to go in the summer and her dad and John out voted her. She is/was incredibly worried about the likes of wolves who have spent £80mill on trying to get to the prem. She wanted to get rid of Hughes last summer and bring in Silva she was also happy to spend a lot of money on players but John n Peter want the club to be self sufficient. How true it is I don’t know but quite interesting if it is. Cool story bro... ...complete horseshit.

The more I look at Denise the more beautiful she looks.
But I'd marry her for her personality rather than her looks.
That's the most important thing.

She's like the lovechild of Charlize Theron and the lead singer of Suede in that photo.

Like everything, it's great to see a local person done good. There is just something that leaves a bad taste in my mouth about gambling though.
The explosion in advertising, when that sly creep Blair relaxed the rules (strangely after a large donation from St Peter) doesn't sit right.
The whole house of cards is based on taking money off people and giving to the rich. a back to front Robin Hood.
All it needs is a change of government who actively can see the damage free for all advertising/gambling does to society, and it'll soon dry up.
To be honest I don't actually like anything B365 stands for from a business/economical point of view. And having met Denise a few times at functions, she is actually quite wooden and boring with very little personality.

Talking about her on the Wright Stuff at 11 supposedly.
I'm personally proud of bet365 (even though I have nothing to do with them bar betting lol) given it's a local company, created by Stokies, who have stayed in the area creating so many jobs and also that they have funded one of the most glorious periods in Stoke City's history.

Nothing against her personally, lovely to see a Potteries family who’ve done well (Peter comes from a very modest, large Goldenhill Catholic family) BUT at what cost is their success ? Masses of misery caused to lots of families who have a horrible, destructive habit. (Just like drink, drugs, etc) Their customers need HELP - I’d respect the family more if they recycled half their profits towards gambling addiction - then it would look like they were a responsible business .... and they’d still have a shed load of money !

Seems like the £200 million is fake news, Denise pay was £199,305,000, a whopping £695,000 shy of the reported figure!

Trouble is you could spread this point far and wide. Billionaires who have made their money out of producing foodstuffs that have turned half the nation into obese timebombs, brewers, manufacturers of luxury goods that make people very unhappy if they can’t afford them .....the list goes on. The Coates organisation seem to do as much if not more than most with regard worthwhile causes and whilst gambling remains a legal (and for many desirable) activity it’s hard to be too guilt ridden about the source of their funds.

Good on her.
She's worked bloody hard and deserves every success. Bet365 is her baby and it's such a well run company.
As for gambling and what not, people choose to gamble. I'm just glad there's a company that can provide people from my area with jobs in this industry and not another area.

Come on Denise lets start heavily investing in our football team & try to compete with the big hitters. I know its a risky game & could backfire but lets have ago christs sake we may never have a chance like this again. no chance she'll put her own money in. And she's probably right not do

I’m old and desperately out of touch with what’s policaly correct these days but the bloke who had a pop at her dress sense and hair style must have crossed a line for what’s acceptable on tv? I’m sure it’s water off a ducks back when you have proved yourself as successful as she has but it really came across badly.

I too wince when I think that we have a gambling company across our shirts and stadium. At least it's a local company and not the Shanghai Ruby Roulette Emporium or some other such bizarre looking logo that you see around.

I can sum up bet 365 in this scenario : someone I know had come up with a perfectly legit system to constantly & regularly win via gambling, but very small amounts - however a tidy, albeit small, income. As soon as bet365 realised, they closed his/her account. In other words they'll deal with losers big-time but winners ? (i.e. someone with at least half a brain who is just as good as them re: calculations etc) and they feel threatened ..... pathetic !

They employ people to track account activity to prevent these sorts of things happening. What your friend was doing obviously violated the terms in some way. I'm sure plenty of people can come up with ways to 'beat the bookie' but it's not really possible without pissing the bookie off, hence why they get banned. They aren't going to allow themselves to be manipulated, are they? Otherwise they'd have no business.
