Can't for the life of me think where we could move him on to. Hasn't got the profile to interest China or the Gulf. Failed completely in a second-tier European league with Porto, and is failing completely with a mid-ranking Premier League club. 4 and a half years left on, what, £70,000-a-week? Presumably his reputation is still reasonable in France and Marseille are now quite cash-rich. They could be a good club to target but we'd be looking at losing £10m+ on him. But if they're not interested, God only knows. Outside England, you could count the clubs who could get near his salary on two hands. Very gifted player who can make certain elements of the game look very easy, but it's abundantly clear he'll never make it here Sadly I don't think Marseille have got a pot to piss in nowadays. Unless they have any decent midfielders we could do a swap for? Haven't they got taken over by an American billionaire? They're even getting some probably silly mentions to re-sign Payet with their new cash, aren't they?

i predict imbula will play in barcelona or real one day.... Either a great wind up or you're basing it on youtube clips, FIFA 17 and have never actually seen him play a match in real life.

I don't think the problem was his attitude today, more his constant decision to run down blind alleyways......

i predict imbula will play in barcelona or real one day.... You really are a stuck cuckoo clock. Find something better to do with your time. Like counting blood money from despot regimes, money laundering, profiting from arms deals or giving refuge to global criminals.

So he's got a contract with us where we're legally due to pay him £15 MILLION in wages.
Seriously, we'd be lucky if someone took him off us on a free.

He's like a 9-year-old kid in the park Almost like he's never had any decent coaching. Loads of natural talent, but not a clue how to play the position as a professional player.

He can't defend, he can't tackle, he can't head and he can't use his right foot except for standing up. He looked great when he first arrived but was dead-man walking once the other teams figured how to play him. Much the same can be said for Shaqiri, except he seems to try a bit harder, but that's not saying a whole hell of a lot.

I googled him and found out pretty damn quick that he was a flop at Porto. Does that count?

He can only perform when teams allow him time and space not worth a quarter of what we paid for him and I hope we can move him on this month

He could start with passing the ball instead of running into blind alleys 8 out of 10 times! After that he should learn to tackle so he can get the ball back now and then. When he has learnt this stuff he should start practising heading the ball, then to compete for it in the air as well! I have seen him track back some times, but he too often gives up too early! Make the whole run back, not stop before you have done your defensive duties properly! That said, all this should really be possible for G, but he needs to realise these are the problems, and the reason why he doesn't play!
