If an adult tries to get in on a child ticket they will be asked to go to the ticket office to upgrade it. Anyone wishing to do this should turn up early to do the upgrade at the ticket office. Cheers, have they put that on the Official Site yet? Not sure Lakeland.. I'm working on turnstiles this year, it's what we were told in the briefing prior to the Genoa friendly.

Ah well I'm glad they've briefed the turnstile staff even if they haven't told the fans.

Ah well I'm glad they've briefed the turnstile staff even if they haven't told the fans. Now why would they do that?

Fans will still turn up at 14.59 tomorrow and complain they never got in on time because there was some sort of hold up?
The club to be fair have given notice re getting to the Brit in good time before ko.

Err! A ticket collector did the swiping. I suppose they don't trust the system yet ;-)

I was thinking it was a check to see if all bar codes were working unless a ticket collector is going to be there all season.

I can't see how it would work without operators.

The cards should be ready to collect (or reissue) tomorrow night. Don't know what the queues will be like though. Try to get there early.

So, before you can buy a match ticket you have had to become a member and get a teamcard, which is free, but if you lose it, you have to pay £10 to get a new one, great

It sounds a bit of a mess tonight. If you use the online ordering, you have to pick up your tickets in person instead of loading them onto the card automatically.

Did anyone have any issues getting in with the cards last night? All went a bit too smoothly for my liking lol

My uncle is a steward. I spoke to him the other day about the new system. He said there was quite a few problems against palace. Apparently as it got nearer to 3 o clock they were letting people in even if the card didn't scan properly because it was causing queues. He didn't say if it was the terminals at fault, or the cards or the operators.
Personally, I had no problem but just thought I'd repeat what he told me.
I still wish we'd stuck with books though.

Given the nature of the posts on here, it sounds like the match is an absolute humdinger
