Does anyone know when we will get our season tickets? I can't remember for the life of me when it was last year...

I love the weekly "when are the season tickets due?" thread! Early August in previous years.

I bought mine online and the delivery option was greyed out, so I have to collect mine. I paid by credit card, so maybe this was the reason. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Maybe it's because I was a 'dummy-chucker' who decided not to renew until Pulis left; when I did buy my ticket, it was for a different seat, so maybe they need ID or something as I'm effectively a new ST holder for that seat.

It's probably been said and answered bit I can't be arsed to trawl the thread...they were advertising turnstile jobs last month ??? why? considering we have got these in place
It also said you must be friendly, cheerful, and requires good social/communication skills. I've never heard more than "ta"

I've never heard more than "ta" This coming season every turnstile will be manned to scan the card as you come through. A few people leave at the end of every season so they usually need a few new staff.Theres nearly 50 turnstiles so they need to be covered plus a handful of people extra to cover anyone who cant make that particular game. To be honest, I think this could well be the last season of manned turnstiles and I expect you will be scanning your own card to get in with match day security overlooking the gates as you enter. There is no official word on that as yet but why pay for a new system unless it will be cost effective in the long run ? As for never hearing more than `ta`, well, if you want to chat on your way in come down early and I for one would be happy to chat / have a laugh / take the piss etc but don't expect it from 2pm onwards. Im still happy to chat but you may well get a punch in the neck from the guy behind whos had 8 pints of bitter and needs a piss !! I still expect there to be chaos on the first few games even though its a relatively simple system so get down there early just to be sure. See ya there

Don't know if its already been posted but just thought I'd inform you all.. Season tickets for next season will be swipe cards, so no more ripping the relevant number out of your little book folks! I know the firm who have installed the network and done the cabling for the system ; was finished early this week! About time we joined the 21st century! Well done Vale also have introduced them this season too

Vale's system isn't a swipe card system, they will have a guy who has a hand held scanner and they will scan them in.

Don't we normally have them by now? I'm sure we always get them around 20th July.

You're right mate but they won't be sent out until the final payment has been taken on the 4 month payment plan, which was yesterday. So I assume they'll be busy dispatching them as we speak. Or not as its SCFC.

I have just had a letter from them saying that as I have applied for a concessionary ticket (I officially became an old Geezer in March),I need to provide proof of age and my card has been de-activated until such proof is received , which is all well and good , but begs the question, why the hell did they not ask for proof when I applied at the ticket office at the end of last season?.

It seems there will be a £5 charge for a ticket if you forget your card on a match day.

Not when you've already paid for it. No, I mean it should be free considering how much a season ticket costs.
