He offers goals from midfield which will be vital for us, not sure he works with Mikel, but we need to find a way to accommodate him. Totally agree. We didnt look as solid in the middle when we have done with mikel and Thompson. But Clucas does pop up with goals from midfield which is important..nice headache for MON.

Didn’t SJW say he was joining the coaching team? Did that ever happen? The gleghorn article in the sentinel mentions SJW's role as well as roles of other former players.

Who was that midfielder we signed from Notts County that same season we signed Oldfield, I can picture his face, but can't think of his name??? 🤔 Phil Robinson? Am I thinking correctly? but did we also sign Dave kevan from notts county in a double deal with someone whose name I can't remember.

Absolute rubbish Bayern. Away from home against the current league leaders. A 3-0 win. Rode the early pressure got on top in the first half. Scored two goals. Second half completely controlled the game excellent performance. Solid in midfield and defence. Keeper never troubled. If you can't enjoy to days game.performance.result you need a new sport to follow. We can’t string two passes together. Awful football. If you think football is winning 7-0 every game with little flicks and 40 yrds passes every two minutes your on cuckoo land. Defending is part of football and we gave a fantastic defensive performance today. Kept a clean sheet and scored 3 away at the league leaders....were 6th ffs.

2 weeks ago you said Reading are the best side in the league. We’ve just beaten them 3-0 away from home and you are still not happy. I couldn’t give a shit what they are. We didn’t play very well. Absolute rubbish Bayern. Away from home against the current league leaders. A 3-0 win. Rode the early pressure got on top in the first half. Scored two goals. Second half completely controlled the game excellent performance. Solid in midfield and defence. Keeper never troubled. Quite enjoying watching the solid red wall to be honest. Defending is a part of the game we havent been solid in for far to long.

Think 5 of the current top 6 will be there all season. With only reading dropping out of the playoff places. Are we good enough to grab that 6th spot? Probably not as we struggle to create enough scoring opportunities. Think it'll be from 7th to 10th for us this term. Moving in right direction though.

Let them go.
Refuse to let their b teams play on the premier league.
Have a more open premier league in this country without the top 5 or 6. British football fans will be happy to see more clubs having genuine chance of winning the new look premier league.
Maybe even motd would become less biased
Let them chase the ££ and ge English football back into some sort of financial reality making it a more open competition.

We should remember we had one of the best young English keepers as our no 1. We might not see that again for a long time.
Injury, Confidence affected him badly hopefully he can rebuild his career and get that berk pickfords england spot.
The issue is the decision to hold onto our alleged top players when we were relegated. If wed have sold Allen. Butland and a few others instead of thinking we could bounce steaight back we'd of got far more back in transfer fees not to be in a posi8tion when were basically giving our players away to mega rich prem clubs.

Palace have got a bargain..you couldn't get a league 1 keeper for that price. Old woy has done is good and proper.. So desperate are we to reduce our waaages we've basically given him away.. Our relegation and decision to hold onto so called premier plauers has bit is spectacularly on the bum. Hindsight is right but i think Bournemouth have done it right and got as much as they could for their star players and use the money to rebuild.
Allvthe best Jack. Hope you regain your confidence and would love to see you back in the england squad.

Stoke fans hate DM's when we have them then cry when we don't have one. Agreed. Look at the stick Glenn Whelan used to get...then look how we cried out for a whelan type once he left

I would hope the league governing body have put some sort of rules in place in case the season can't finish. Or we will Have the same chaos next summer ofsqueezing games in or should we play should we not. Who goes up or down.
I would of thought the league a would of learnt and put some rule in place in case of national crisis that if less than 50% of games are played the season is void but if over 50% games are played by majority of teams then whatever the league positions are at that point is final. I doubt it though and they will probably be scratching their heads not knowing what to do.

As good as it is that tommy has the top stats in this part of the game. It just shows how average the championship is that not one player got even 50% of his crosses on target.
You can almost hear the groans from the crowd and See the slumped shouldered centre forward trudging back to the halfway line as clearly the majority of crosses don't find their man.

Gunn let in 25 in 10 prem games. (Inc 9 against Leicester).
Maybe saints dont think he's prem standard and are looking at options for butland to challenge McCarthy for no1 spot.
Maybe Gunn wants to move back north west closer to family.
Both gk's value has gone down in the last 12 month's so who knows.
Could be something in this one.

I'm not sure it is if were serious about pushing for top 6. I honestly thought he looked lightweight in the appearances he made before injury. Just cant see him being the answer as first choice in a 2 game a week league at the moment. As he physically develops maybe. But for now he's an impact from the bench at most. Plus he's recovering from a serious injury and this can take many players 12 months to really get over it if at all. He's a winger, he doesn't need to physically physically...unb] Then the full backs will love playing against him..a slight shoulder nudge and the threat is over. Of course he needs to develop physically...unbelievable Jeff.

Love em or loathe em... But the family are again supporting the manager. Despite the difficult financial times at moment.. And yes I know so far the signings are free but Fletcher and JOM especially won't be cheap wages.

Not the signing to sell many season tickets. But reality is thats where we're at now. Trying to be positive who would we rather come on needing a goal with 10 mins to go... Fletcher or Gregory?
Ngoy has gone maybe Gregory is next.

Personally I don't think he's championship level.
Yes he gets some good reviews from his league 1 games but then so did Lindsay in a promotion winning team and still many think he's not a championship player
Theres as big a difference between league 1 and the championship as there is between the championship and the premier.
