I welcome the start of safe standing, which alot of stoke fans have wanted. Personally I would keep seats in the new corner location for the away fans and creat 2 safe standing areas at the back of the south stand and boothen end purely for home fans..
If we ever get back to the Premier with big away followings we could end up with all the south stand and corner being away fans with safe standing while the whole of the home stands would still be all seaters.

Should’ve been done in the boothen end. It’ll be a sparsely populated part of the ground following this. Final nail in the coffin.

The first yellow was ridiculous, setting him up for a second yellow which was something he probably had to do if it was a bookable offence at all. Don’t be a twat and kick the ball away and put yourself in the ref’s mind as a player he needs to watch….like bloody ground hog day though. He deliberatedly blocks a player with the ball not even close by. Yes that's a sending off by all standards. Unless it's the carabo cup final and your names Endo!

If Plymouth get relegated, how can you blame that on Schumacher? When he left them, they were well clear of the relegation spots. Its a fact he will have a aged two relegated teams for roughly half their games this season whichever way you call it , it says hes a relegation manager at this level if it happens. Plymouth were always going to low down in the Championship, they all would of expected this season to be tough. and to finish 1 place above relegation will be success for them and there 2 managers this season If we finish 1 place above relegation we'll all be disappointed in the season, after spending heavily again we will demand answers and probably a few more sackings to follow RM. Think your comments are a little short sighted and not really giving a reflection of expectations at both clubs

If Saints do get promoted this season, do you think there is a chance he could go out on loan next season? If so, would you want Stoke to take a punt on him? No I want us to get our own striker, develop him and improve him for benefit of scfc not to benefit another club.

Is this the club we’ve now become Yep, our support is split. We should unite as 1 and show what our support can be like. Unfortunately we have to many who just want to do there own thing and not be part of a bigger support group. Out support was split over the last few seasons beyond any form of repair by the blockheads from block 19 singing and clapping at 100mph, and there pathetic IRA songs. The rest of the boothen refused to join in with them and the split was born. Gone are the days of one section leading and the rest following. Every body wants to be top dog now and do there own thing. United strength is stronger!

Yep, the world has gone mad...well not the whole world just the left side and media

If he's fit and looking decent in training, I would be tempted to put him in a 3 with Rose and Wilmot. He's a danger from set plays and a decent organiser, and would give us balance on that side with his left foot.. Another player who becomes better in our mind the less he plays

Just like Bae, there’s a great player in there. Hopefully just abit of time Not sure he'll be a great player, will need a lot of work to be comfortable with his right foot or defenders will soon work him out. Over to the scfc coaches and the lad himself if he wants to improve his game threat. Saying that he did at least look like he can put a pass through for the striker to run onto. A skill weve been void of for far to long.

I actually feel sorry for the Coates family. They appoint managers in good faith they will be successful, they back them financially far greater than majority of championship teams, they don't stick their noses in and they give managers freedom to run football matters. It all goes wrong despite all this, they have to cough up to pay off the management team and the cycle starts again....they must be praying please let us finally pick a winner.

He must be completely besides himself with stress, frustration and worry.

Has SJW done his coaching badges? UEFA A and B I think bud Many are saying SS is not experienced enough for the job, don't see how appointing SJW as manager would ease those fears.

I was at that final game against Leicester i even shed a tear , now , oh my , i feel like our club is falling into the darkest deepest abyss with no way out ,what do we do , where do we go , i feel like crying but i'm totally numb with the disbelief to what's happening to our beloved club , gonna have a beer and try and get some light relief on my birthday but somehow i won't stop thinking about it Bolton, Pompey. It looks like you can add Stoke to the list of Premier clubs who have fell down the divisions. Like you I'm in disbelief how we've got so many things wrong so often We've backed every manager with good money season after season bit it just doesn't work out.

Who do you replace him with though? the other options on the bench are even worse Gooch Gooch..... He was embarrassing last time he played full back, gave ghe winger so much room and time he lit a cigarette before he put his crosses in, 2 of which led to Blackburn goals.

Think this could be a masterstroke... Fuckwit out Hero in. If this is part of a cull to sort out the toxicity at our Club then I'm all for it. Who knows? But at least JC is being proactive. Reckon SS might be feeling a tad better tonight?? I think your right about the cull of toxicity, a new man who wants the best for the club close to his heart, no history and cliques to hide behind. He'll we able to talk to all employees at all levels with no prejudice,no one worrying about what they say to him In case it comes back to bite them. He'll be able to build a picture of whose pulling in the right direction and who needs shifting out.. he might even give mmae a body check to show what a real forward is all about

SJW comes in with no baggage. Popular amongst staff still a relevant name to most players, he will be able to get around each department and find out what the issues are going on behind the scene and hopefully give a no nonsence report back to JC.

Or will Klopp go there? Or DE Zerbi? If klopp went there after being manager of dortmund it would be like him becoming the man utd manager after leaving Liverpool. He's not gonna do that to the dortmund fans.

If all he needs to do is bulk up a bit, would it not have been better having him pumping iron in the gym instead of going out on loan? No player at that age simply needs to bulk up. It is as much about smartening up as strengthening up which is why they need to be playing with and against experienced pros. Didn't he have a long term I jury relating to stomach area recently. If so bulking up probably wasn't an option as he recovered from that. It's probably put him back 12 months in regards to developing his strength over the last 12 months.

Not sure he will get much game time if the present trend continues. MK Don's fans not overly impressed on first few games...too slow, lightweight etc. He was sub on the weekend and the other centre forward scored two goals on his full league debut in their win at Swindon. What I've seen I have to agree with them. Needs to build up some muscle to make it but he's a young lad and his skills are certainly good enough. And yet some here think he's ready for championship football, some even calling for a lowe tezgel front 2. Nooooooooooooo.

And probably Taylor to be fair. Overall though I don't feel like we have enough success stories. You want lads banging in goals and coming back ready to play. It's probably the case with 99% of everyone else's loans as well but I can only base it on following Stoke. Look at liam delap, he's on his 3rd championship loan and only now beginning g To get a grip on what's needed to make it

Brown never came across to me as a player who would sulk. He never gave less than 100% whatever the circumstances. Also, he must have known that being a Prem player would mean that he would always be an also ran. I've got no bones to pick with Brown and I really hope he makes a shedload of dosh with the move. I still think we could have kept him with a great bonus at the end of the season when FFP isn't dragging us back. OS. Really, chance to double his pay and play in the Premier League. We couldn't have matched any part of that offer, it seems a pretty straightforward choice. I can hear the conversation now. RM..ook Jacob "you've been offered the chance to play at the highest level in English football, test yourself against some of the best defenders in the world" JB, "I can't believe this opportunity it will change my life" RM "don't be silly lad, you can stay here where the fans kinda like you but think we can do better. Stand with us, a mid table team as we fight relegation.. and now this is the big one....well give you a nice big bonus including family pass to waterworld, if and its a big if..if FFP pressures allow" what you say son. JB.." Taxi"

Usual case with Stoke fans. Our best players are always the ones that are not in the team. Then they play and we slag them off 100% correct, 6 weeks ago ryan lowe was the one we needed, he'll score, why isn't he getting more game time... now he's played a few games people can see he's slow, out of his depth and nowhere near ready for championship football.

In my experience, work mates tolerate a lot but their comes a point when even they say... come on, this waster needs sorting out, Sorting out yes, ostracised no. It’s the managers job to manage the players at the club Maybe he's managed the issue by removing the problem player for greater good of the other 24 squad members. Maybe the captain went to ss and said look we've had enough, get mmae out he's disrupting the dressing room. He has a squad of players to manage not just 1 who doesn't want to be managed.

There was nothing wrong with disciplining Mmaee, but was it really necessary to do so publicly? In my experience, that tends to deepen any conflict and sympathy among other employees multiplies. Who signed off on this? In my experience, work mates tolerate a lot but their comes a point when even they say... come on, this waster needs sorting out,
