To be fair, regardless of the managers tactics, all the players have to take responsibility for shit passing and shit control. Yes he picks them but every man jack yesterday were fucking awful. They are professional footballers allegedly!!

Fucking hell, we've heard this time and time again in the last SEVEN seasons and time and time again it's the so called 'knicker wetters' who have been proven right. What have we actually achieved in that time? If anything, it's the reactions that have stopped us from performing worse and being a League One club by now. We're incredibly patient all told. I think in the past FIFTEEN seasons we've only won more game than we've lost in like, ONE of them? That's frankly pathetic and arguably the worst record out of the 92 league clubs in total. We were told there was two certainties in life: death and taxes. I'd like to add a third: Stoke City finishing in the bottom half of the Championship. It’s bollocks though. We get a result at Oxford and all is rosy. How the fuck can we judge a team that’s literally been pieced together over the last two weeks? We were shite. Absolute shite. But we were playing a side that had started well at home and we’re still bedding players in. We can be disappointed by all means but I don’t get the big fucking strops. We are what we are. A mid table Championship side. To turn that around will take time and patience. "We get a result at Oxford and all is rosy." That's the problem. We didn't get a result, did we? You know the old saying :- "If my grandmother had balls, she'd be my uncle".

Gallagher & Cannon,Gallaghers partners seem to score loads of goals, let's just hope it works with these two. Let’s hope the manager works out he needs to play both of them

I actually agree with plenty of what you're saying, so my reply to you may seem strange, but it's not just one result or one match. This year, our awful defeats are: Sunderland 3-1 Leicester 5-0 Blackburn 3-1 Cardiff 2-1 Norwich 3-0 Swansea 3-0 Watford 3-0 West Brom 2-1 Oxford 1-0 3 of the results have been in our opening 5 games. We've had too many under him already.

It's a new season, with a new squad, what happened last season is irrelevant.
We have lost 3 matches to 3 of the top 7 teams in the league who have started the season very well. One home defeat by the top team in the division.
We have players who are still strangers and will take time to get to know each others' game and what the manager is trying to achieve.
Goal scoring is clearly an issue, but our defending is quite good (nof brilliant). Success starts with stopping conceding silly goals.
My verdict is give Schuey time to get it right.

Fucking hell we aren’t half some shower of knicker wetters. We have a squad packed full of young exciting players. And a young manager willing to play them. We’re a team in transition and we’ll veer between crap and ace. If we ever needed our supporters to show some balls and actually take the knocks and roll with them rather than going ultra whiny every single time, it’s now. Either that or we better start stocking those knicker pads for ladies of a certain age in the club shop. It’s like a tsunami of piss on here after every defeat. Here he is, the oatcake’s head prefect We should be battering Oxford United. Why accept mediocrity? And that makes you the Oatcakes chief ……head? Fill in the blank as you see fit.

I'm getting serious deja vu here This is exactly what everyone was saying last season. We need a clearout of the deadwood 🙃 It isn't Stevie's team yet. He needs two more windows at least. Anything I've missed.

Yesterday only Wilmott and Gooch if the starters could be classed as other managers players plus Bonham and Thompson of the subs. There is no deadwood other than Ennis who is his signing. None of this caused him to pick Gooch, ignore the fact Junior was being destroyed down the right or make 4 substitutions that made us worse

You could say that he talks the talk but doesn’t do the walking, but, I have to say that I don’t think he even talks the talk that well either. Stoke seem to have a habit of picking managers who fail to inspire players or fans alike. The evidence of that was very clear today. He’s had a generously funded window now and enough time but the product hasn’t improved. Sorry to say but the perpetual SCFC Managers Ticking clock has been set in motion again. Piss poor Today. Really piss poor. "Had enough time"!!! That was the first game after signing some new players. It's going to take time for any understanding to develope. There was no excuse for lack of effort though. It's pointless having a thread after every game - win or lose.

The abuse I’ve taken on this thread for merely suggesting it was pretty obvious he’d be sacrificed by November 🤣
People really need to wake up with this club.
