May as well, can’t possibly see things turning around from here.
So who would you have, realistically? Steve Cooper is said to be under pressure at Forest - don’t think he’d get a Prem job is he gets the chop so may have an outside chance of getting him.
Also want to add that we have people at the club who are meant to identify managers, so I’m sure there are plenty of good managers out there who I haven’t heard of and the people running our club probably haven’t either.

We are a bottom half Championship club that for the last five seasons has been far closer to relegation than promotion.
The realistic list of candidates will be the likes of Chris Wilder, Dean Smith, and John Eustace.
We need to accept that we are where we are as a club - Potter, Bielsa, Cooper, and some of the other names recently banded about on this board are just pie in the sky.

I dread to think We probably just played against his side today. Either that or some name out of a hat. This club has fucked up big time. Tried to fool us with smoke and mirrors in the summer with player announcements. I wouldn’t mind so much if the players would be improved by these coaches but they won’t.

I don’t have a great knowledge of overseas managers but that’s the route I’d go. We need someone with a bit of charisma and a lot of tactical nouse who wants to play the right way. If we can’t get one now I’d try and get Warnock till the end of the season or maybe look at Eustace on a short term deal. Potter is a pipe dream.

Suspect the name that will get mentioned a lot on here or Twitter is Eustace. And is the one we absolutely should target ideally.
The reality is we will end up with another uninspiring, aging British manager - Wilder, Bruce, Warnock, Pardew, Pearson, Mad fucking Mick - cause would you put it past them in all reality?
Only in our wildest dreams would we take an approach like Brentford did with Frank.

It doesn't matter who we'd choose. The owners have pretty much confirmed now beyond any doubt that the next man in will be from a similar, if not identical pool to this:
Bruce Wilder Warnock Eustace Dean Smith Bowyer Pearson Alex McCleish
With the lavish, exotic option being:
Scott Parker Michael Beale Frank Lampard
Enjoy your Saturday night steak and chips everyone...

I’d have Donald Trump over this idiot we’ve got. He’s more orange (just) and equally as much of a twat so I see it as an upgrade.
Seriously, let’s hope we are more creative with what we do, no more boring British plodders who’ve had a couple of good seasons over the last 20.

Wont be popular with some but Id even have Warnock for the season to ensure we stay up. Give them time to identify a new guy with a long term vision to step in in May

Squad wise we’re not far off a good side. Keeper, left back, centre back and then the rest is up to the manager and how they use the players. I think there’d be a lot of interest in the vacancy to be honest.

I have no animosity whatsoever towards MON, he saved us from league 1. He also didn’t bullshit us, shame it just didn’t work out.

Eustace would be the best from the level we will more than likely looking at.
Graham Potter would be great, but unlikely..

MON comfortably the better manager here. It's so far apart it's laughable.
Speaking of which, add Stephen Kenny to the list...
