Great choice but surely on for much, much bigger jobs than us? You can see him at Brighton in the summer as a replacement for De Zerbi.

I honestly want someone I’ve never heard of. They may end up crap but at least we won’t know they’re going to be crap when they’re appointed. I defo don’t want another name off the conveyor belt like Dean Smith or Chris Wilder Yep same here. Do some research and get someone from abroad. Sadly won't happen and we will end up with someone like Dean Smith, who is as wank as Neil.

Cercle Bruges currently 4th
A manager who has risen through the coaching ranks and if wages to be believed, on a fraction of Neil's salary.
Not a big club but overachieving under a great coach who has earned his stripes.
Never a better time to get one of best up and coming coaches in Europe and affordable and not unrealistic

Serious point though, owners at a big crossroads now. They need to ask some very harsh questions of themselves.

Think Eustace is about the best of the crop out there - he knows the club, served us with distinction and will at least get us organized behind the ball, compact and hard to beat.

MON comfortably the better manager here. It's so far apart it's laughable. Speaking of which, add Stephen Kenny to the list... Did wonders at Dundalk Not for me though , too nice

Eustace was doing a great job at Birmingham until the owners got all starry-eyed. We should take advantage of someone else’s mistake for once.

What the hell has eustace done to deserve even being mentioned as our next manager (apart from being a ex player)? Might aswell have Brian fucking small on the list as well. Alex Neil's cv blows eustace out the water. I wanted wilder when we got Neil and that hasn't changed for me. Unless if Cooper gets the chop at forest I'd go for him, dong exposed.

Gus Poyet is just about to leave his job as manager of the Greek National side. Under his management, Greece has been playing a really nice brand of football. If available, I feel that he could "work the oracle" with these players who, for some reason, I still have faith in.
I'd give Poyet the job in a heartbeat.

What about Liam Rosenoir? Could he be tempted away from Hull? Done a decent job on a modest budget He’s just signed a new contract and said how much he loved the club in an interview this week. Which is why Watford went straight in my coupon today 👍🏻

Michael O'Neill - you know it makes sense! As long as he's kept far away from transfers I'm all for it!

Somebody who improves players. Somebody who doesn't get spikey in interviews, spikyness is for the dressing room. Somebody who proactively commands during the game not reactively. Somebody who can suss out the other team and act accordingly. Plymouth were small at the back, Wesley should have started. Eustace is a good shout. And Nuno.

Firstly I don’t think Neil is going to depart anytime soon but secondly I think people who say ‘we re just a bottom half Championship team so haven’t got a chance of getting X,Y or Z’ are getting it wrong. We are in fact a club who can back its ambitions with financial stability and , above all, can pay any potential manager a huge salary (PL level) ....... both these things are VERY rare in this league.

May as well, can’t possibly see things turning around from here. So who would you have, realistically? Steve Cooper is said to be under pressure at Forest - don’t think he’d get a Prem job is he gets the chop so may have an outside chance of getting him. Also want to add that we have people at the club who are meant to identify managers, so I’m sure there are plenty of good managers out there who I haven’t heard of and the people running our club probably haven’t either. That's wishful thinking that the club has people employed to identify potential managers. Have you seen the last 5 we've employed? Carlos Corberan was fully available for us to hire but JC is blind to anyone but a UK candidate. It's the death of us really. One fool is making us all miserable and it's John Coates. Corberan was the obvious choice, scandalous error by the board.

AN has had just 18 weeks with virtually all of his current playing staff. He has also had injuries to key players during that time. The Chamionship is a strong league most seasons, but this year has seen Leeds, Leicester and Southampton come down, and seasoned squads at Ipswich and Plymouth come up. Only Sheffield Wednesday have struggled, and they beat Blackburn today. It’s a tough league, and instant success on the pitch is not guaranteed. We won’t go down, and we will add in January, but bringing in another manager is not the answer… at least not yet.

We’ve had the whole squad (bar Wilmot and Baker) back for the last few weeks and we’re 5 without a win and 3 defeats on the bounce. The guy is dining out on two five game unbeaten runs in about 60 games.
