They’re on a roll though I’m not convinced they’re as good on paper as Leeds.
It’ll be interesting to see if he makes changes with 3 games in a week.
I’d go with
Travers
Hoever Rose McNally Stevens
Pearson Burger Bae
Leris Mmaee Hacks (Id give Vidigal a rest)

Get the in-form Boro out of the way and onto two months of piss easy fixtures.
Roll on the Play-Offs!!

I had no idea Boro were where they were.
Last I checked they couldn’t buy a win and the knives were sharpening for Carrick.

Leris was pretty invisible tonight, maybe he needs a rest. I’d be tempted to start big Wes. Play big Wes right wing?

Press them into implosion like last season.

Perhaps Wes in the middle and use Hax and Vidi Thought Leris was great tonight, won every header and is the worker we need down that side to accommodate Hoever. Signs of a player in Mmaee, clearly still needs to get fitter and hopefully get on the same wavelength with game time.

Leris was pretty invisible tonight, maybe he needs a rest. I’d be tempted to start big Wes. Leris was my MOTM. Won absolutely everything in the air, tracking back to make some tackles, linked up well down both flanks and put in a couple of decent balls. Deffo wasn’t invisible.

Mmaee was poor, give someone else a chance.
Vidigal looked fucked so rest him.
I’d drop Hoever like a stone too.
That’s about it really.

Just annoying that he seems so poor when he tries to do anything to the ball with his feet 🤣

And we don’t seem to make the attacking runs he keeps looking for, but I can see him becoming a very big part of our team.

Use the squad and make changes.
Hoever, Thompson, Johnson, Vidigal out from tonight.
Junior, Stevens or Gooch, Bae and Haks in.

Think with two wins on a bounce we need continuity in the team. Although Mmaee was poor I'd prob give him 55 mins on Sat to see how he fairs. That said Wes bossed it when he came on.

He’s coming back from injury and think that was probably a big part in the awfulness tonight tbh. Same with Vidigal. Give them a rest and it should help the team in the short and long term.

We have to be careful with Mmaee IMO. Clever footballer but nowhere near a target man. Haks and Bae around him would be great for him and us. Clever footballers that can link with him.
Whoever we play in this system with what was around them tonight will struggle and be isolated. It was setup to do a job first and foremost and you get that, but collateral will be the centre forward.

Think we can all agree this a tough fixture but we are going with big boost of two good home wins
I'd bring Stevens back in
Really want to see Haksabanovic or Junho linking up with Mmaee but DJ really earned his corn last night so guess other than Enda will be same team?
They don't have the star loans from last season but have really kicked on after a terrible start
Draw will be fine

They’ve won seven in a row and are the form team in the division along with Leicester. Last night would have taken a lot out of our players and they have had the extra days rest, so a draw would be a decent result.

Likely to change a few with 3 games in short succession, but the others come in now knowing they have to perform, we have decent options. One summer Neil has assembled this squad and at this moment in time I'm looking around to see who the bad signing is, a clean sheet, tidy performance and 3 points against a multi million pound in form Leeds is very positive

Either way, thank god we are playing them and not Sheffield Wednesday
