Never been so sure about a player going right to the top, has everything, if he fills out and ends up as similar height to his old man hes going be a absolute monster.
Technical ability is already top.

Impressed me last night, a few stray passes but that’s forgiven ( not for Wilmot though)

Man of the match by a mile for me. A couple of sloppy passes aside (which will happen) he was absolutely quality. Covered ground fast, some beautiful tackles that he not only got the ball but was up and using it in the same movement, a cheeky Sir Stan shimmy to go past a player in the second half, and one of the best first time passes we'll see all season when he hit an almost no look one down the right hand channel to Koumas in the second half. He's already a hell of a player and will only get better. England awaits one day for him. Unless he chooses France who also want him

Again, comes on and doesn’t look out of place.
He’s such a good player and hopefully will play more from now on.

Immaculate when he came on. He’s 17 too. We’re so lucky.

Seko seems smart and gobby in a good way, might be helpful for Sidibe to start alongside him for some games. I thought they looked just fine today.

Thought he came on and was tidy enough, but think he was dropping a bit too deep and played it perhaps a little too safe. We seemed to lose a bit of impetus when he came on, which could have been more to do with the amount of minutes the others had played this week.
A decent showing, don’t think he lost the ball but maybe just didn’t take it on the half turn as much as maybe the other midfielders did. For 17 though, a positive outing all in all.

He’s not a starter. He’s still growing and filling out. Once again, we need to handle him carefully. It’ll only get harder for him when Lawal and Pearson are ready.

I agree he needs to be handled carefully but I don't see how Lawal who is an unknown quantity and the injury prone Pearson will make it harder.

Amazing what being out for months with an injury can do to perception. Vincent Pericard could be injured for months and people would think he’d improve us when he’s back.

He's clearly physically more than ready Amazed Jokker described him as lightweight yesterday He's a big strong lad
Would also argue he's ready to play full stop, his decision making is excellent

Didn’t say Pearson will make us better, just that the midfield will become more competitive. Same goes for Lawal. We may try and let Pearson out on loan in January but he has to be fit in order to do so.

Pearson has been an odd one. I felt for sure he was the missing player we had needed in midfield. He used to be snapping at players and putting tackles in and popping up all over the place in his Preston days.

He’s already better than Pearson.
He is also already better than Lawal too because let’s be honest no one knows anything about him apart from some impressive YouTube reels.

Maybe Lawal can go back to being a centre back then. Either way, he’s going to be given an opportunity to show us what he’s made of, otherwise that’s £2m down the drain. I want us to be a bit more physical all over the pitch which I think is a weakness currently. Another big unit who can play DM or at centre back, whether in a two or a three, will be very welcome.

Pearson is an interesting one. Not so long ago he was a major force to be reckoned with at this level, been hit & miss at best for us. Not sure how much this injury was affecting him before. Be interesting to see if the manager rates him & if he can get a tune out of him. A fully fit ‘Pearson of old’ could be really useful in this current system.

Sol struggled at Oxford and I have to admit to being a little apprehensive when he came on yesterday. Thought he did really well and didn't look out of place at all.
Looks to have a bright future

he looks assured in his movements. defensively yesterday he stood strong at times and just did what was needed. especially against a big physical millwall, good on him for looking the part. Get him in regular rotation id say. weve got a few youngsters who i think we should be rotating more often - keep 'um knowing first team is achievable regularly

Looks very assured and not out of place at all. I’d like to see him improving his off-the-ball awareness when we’re out of possession, to recognise danger and get into shape. He’s a young lad who will not be the complete package yet and it’d be unreasonable to expect that, but the more he plays
For me he’s ahead of Thompson and Pearson now, and it’s up to Lawal to prove he’s the better option than Sol is right now.

He could be a rolls royce of a player. Think he has a massive future in the game. Keep up the hard work Sol.

Agree with yourself bud - little more ‘in game’ preemptive awareness (that just comes with those experiences that challenge I.e first team action) and he’ll be able to flex that apparent calm sensibility into something both reassuring for a attacker looking back and a defender looking forward. What’s good to see, however, is his ability to wiggle when either caught out or when needing to compensate - a tenacity one must choose, I’d say anywho. I’d be quite happy if he was rotated in place of Thompson so to acquire that much needed game time. Thompson is a fair choice to have but not one that attracts excitement or promise, for myself any how

Pelach has a crop of excellent youngsters in the squad: Sol, Tezzer, Dixon (Lowe, Simpkin too). He seems to focus a lot on individual player development, and how he brings these on will be really interesting. If we can get three first team regulars, that would be good going, even if we have to then sell them on at some point.

In the short-term, I think he will really benefit from being in a midfielder 3 in that respect too.
