Think he needs a thread all of his own.
He genuinely looks the real deal.
There aren't many 16 year olds that don't look out of place in football at whatever level you play at.
But to not look out of place in professional high level football is pretty exciting.

Mama is a club legend for us, but to all intents and purposes, he was a cult hero and not a player that was coveted by the rest of the league.
Sol however looks like he could be on his way to the very, very top.

Do we know how protected we are with his contract? Can we command a fee or is he on a youth deal still if a top club comes in?

Do we know how protected we are with his contract? Can we command a fee or is he on a youth deal still if a top club comes in? it was announced recently that he's already agreed professional terms that will come into effect when he turns 17 in February, we're fully protected. |

My biggest concern with Neil and possibly unfairly was he wouldnt play the youth players.
By playing Sidibe hes shown if you are good enough you'll get on the pitch which is great news. What makes this even better is its Mamas lad.
This is incredibly early days but i really hope Sol goes all the way and hes the kind of player that can help bind the fans and team together.
The momentum of the club does feel like its starting to dial towards positive.

Great for the other young guns too. They'll see Sol getting nearly 90 mins and it should spur them on.
Tezgel will get minutes if he can get himself properly fit I'm sure of it.

I’ll be honest I’ve not really heard of him before as a player breaking into the first team but wow really impressive.

Mind you I think about Ethan Ampadu - 22 and at Leeds. Started at Exeter and Chelsea paid liars for him when he was 16/17. Loans abroad and here. Full Welsh international. Point being that’s not a bad career trajectory. |
