There's something happening down Bet 365 tomorrow.  To be honest with my health it’s difficult to travel that far on my own So try to get a couple of Stoke games a season when one of my lads are available The youngest doesn’t follow football The third eldest he has five kids under ten so weekend’s tend to be busy for him The two eldest are avid Dereham town fans Been looking and swaffham are at home to harwich Saturday so a short bus trip on the cards No probs fella I was just having a little inoffensive jovial dig.  |

I see Nicky Maynard and Danny Fox are both playing for Winsford Utd this season, both were born in the local area and now at the end of their careers with their local club.

The Coors Sunday league, the only remaining Sunday football league in Stoke starts this weekend too. For those who follow Sundays. It was PDSL 50th year this year but sadly have had to pack in leaving just one league now.

And that’s about standard. They got 1300 for the play off final last season. Really good set up though and nice club house and cheap to get in (6quid) and the food and drink is cheap too. |

I live 5 mins from the ground and have done for 5 years now so been pretty regularly (bar Covid) but should be moving in the next few months so won’t be going there near as often if at all. |

Stone OA v 1874 Northwich on Tuesday night, 1874 got battered 2-6 off Kidsgrove on Saturday, first game of the season and playing a few lads just out of the U21's, may work in the NW Counties but not in the next level up.

Hednesford and Chasetown both localish Chasetown in particular really good club on the up If I recall correctly, there is an excellent framed article in Chasetown club bar, about an FA Cup match. Could be mistaken though Speaking of Hednesford, random question but are there many Oatcakefanzine members living in the region?! I moved down a few years back and spot the odd Stoke fan over the chase in amongst West Brom, Wolves & Villa etc. |
