Northwich and Witton? Too far, too low? Northwich Victoria are tenants at Witton Albion, and 1874 Northwich are tenants at Barnton A shame Witton and the two Northwich teams don't join up as 1 good team.

Off to watch Stafford Rangers vs Leek town today If anyone hasn’t been non league I’d recommend it, as top level football drifts further away from the working class non league football is a nice reminder of what football is meant to be Ive slowed down a bit since the Covid era, but there was a time when non-league really re-ignited my love for football. Spent a couple of years going to Sheffield FC when I was working around there, and it was a great craic. Got to know people associated with the club very easily. Always loved the natter with the subs, coach, linesman etc while the game is going on. Players are obviously not playing for the money but the standard was surprisingly good. You get some decent players at that level. I loved proper standing at games as well. Is Ilkeston Fc out of your zone? Nice ground. Or Market Drayton? Saw Andy Cooke play for them! Kidsgrove v Lye Town 5th Aug FA Cup Preliminary Round Market Drayton Town, Bayern.

My local team is Dulwich Hamlets.
Would not recommend. It’s the gentrified version of ‘non-league is a good day out’.
Full of wankers called Henry who work in recruitment.

Market Drayton Town, Bayern. Noticed they’re back in Sandbach’s league which shocked me because they’ve been terrible! They seem to be pushing themselves. Now have a competitive reserve team too.

Foley and. Rocester back in the staffs senior league this season. Yeah both relegated last season and by far the worst teams in that league. Shame as both seem like good little clubs.

Money rules again every level unfortunately. The cost of playing at that level and getting players in good enough means paying them. Plenty of players getting paid even in staffs senior league premier division.

I'll be trying to get myself to a couple of AFC Guiseley games this season with me living up this way.
Still got my Stoke season ticket but don't always come back so it'd be good to fill the occasional Saturday with some local non-league football.

Started going to a few Guiseley games the season they got relegated from the NLN instead of being robbed blind for an away game. A decent day out & will hopefully be able to get to a few games again this time around. Stoke home games remain first priority.

I thought that might be the answer about Macclesfield to be fair A couple of my mates go regular and love it, but I can see why the Savage factor would put you off Not sure about the Belper ground but there is also Ilkeston Town as well that way so could do em both. He’s just a cock isn’t he. But it’s not that, it’s the interference he has, it’s just so him. I’ve also been Macc before so doesn’t hold anything there (in the Vale away end no less Foxy). It occurred to me though I’ve never watched any of the above bar Sandbach in their respective league. Which I thought was a bit shit tbh! I’ve watched Stoke at Castle, Leek and Nantwich but that’s it. Do Biddulph Vics still exist? Knypersley Vics wasn't/isn't it?

Quite fancy a Worcester City game or two this season, with a bit of financial backing in place now & more plans of finally getting a new ground
Few local derbies next season but they have changed league again I believe this season

If you've got younger kids great for them as they can run around and explore whilst you have a pint and a pie on the terrace Honestly would much rather take kids Stafford than stoke, it’s such a better atmosphere for them and like you say they can roam a bit Marston Road still amazes new fans on their first visit to see Stafford Rangers play. The novel way that the home fans switch ends on mass at half time to watch the match from behind the opposite goal is quirky to say the least! Definitely not a sight you get at many other grounds.
