It must be the air in the English Channel that improves them. I wonder would Mane count as a foreign player when he went to Liverpool from Southampton? Under your new definition I'm afraid we won't be ab;le to approach Pep or Klopp to replace MON as they wouldn't be coming from abroad. What if a player signed for us when they were on holiday abroad but played for an English team? Would that be OK do you think or would it be bending the rules |

As a Norwegian I know about this player. His skill was highly praised when he played in the Norwegian league. Without not knowing too much about him, I guess MON would look at him as a younger version of a midfielder in the Vrancic/Sawyers mode. I think getting Celina to Stoke could be a good move.

I really don’t think we were as ‘close’ to signing him as was made out. Firstly, there was no real credible link… usually when a random link is made, if it’s legit one of the more notable journos picks up on it later the same day… this one went too long with not one credible link.

I was never convinced that the final step was imminent, although I wouldn't have been surprised.
