Looks like a proper baller to me.
Once his team mates realise what he can do we'll fly.

Loads of players have come here with super reputations and looked great in their first game or two and then bang, they turn into complete donkeys. The list is endless over the past six seasons. Fingers crossed this guy can break the curse and do the business on a regular basis. Certainly off to a bright start. |

No idea if things will work out for him in the long run,as only played one game.
But fair play to AN for trying to get in someone different to what we have and offering him the chance to earn a long term deal , if things work out.
He's got the chance to really help his career and the club and both of us have little to lose .
Let's hope he can turn his talent into goals and assists for Stoke.
He has the ability, good luck to him.

This has been the issue with him at all of his clubs so far, so fingers crossed it's going to change. Don't mind players drifting out of games as long as they do something to impact the game when they drift back in. |

I liked him especially when he moved more centrally and created overloads. He's clearly technically very good, but as others have said he might drift out of games for long periods.

His through balls to Campbell twice I think is exactly what we’ve been missing for years. He’s a proper footballer, the question is do we have enough proper footballers in the squad who can compliment him by being on the same wavelength? My initial thoughts are only Gayle and Powell may be in tune with him, but not sure how all three on the pitch at any one time would look….we’d be proper light defending from the front.

Drifting in and out is pretty much par for the course for this type of player at our level. If he could perform consistently he would be playing at a higher level. |

Really impressed with him yesterday considering he hadn't long been with the squad. Showed glimpses of real class and I've got a sneaky feeling he could be really good for us from now until the end of the season. Glad someone mentioned we've got an option to buy, hopefully this will give him even more incentive to do well knowing he is playing for his future aswell. Refreshing to see someone who can pass the ball to one of his team mates, I know it's a basic thing but bloody hell we've struggled with even that at times this season.

Faded out of the game early in the 1st half. He's a good technical player but he didnt really impact the game, he was largely anonymous. The goal from the corner was lucky not to have been taken by the first man if not for Wilmot getting a good flick on. He's got the quality but he didnt impact the game anywhere near as much as is being made out right now, especially when considering thats against a League 2 team. Still look forward to what he can bring to the team though. If it was then you could say the same thing about every goal that we have conceded from a corner.The opposition just got lucky because we did not intercept the ball. I prefer to believe that the ball was delivered into the right area and it is our job to attack the ball and get in front of the defender. Which is exactly what happened. |

I had got to thinking about how Souts pings those long balls out. That will keep him involved more.  |
