He is undoubtedly talented. Vrancic but with better movement? I got the impression that he wasn't really trusted at Swansea. A bit of a maverick maybe?

Exotic.
Born in the old Yugoslavia, brought up in Norway, holed out in Manchester for a time and now in Dijon.
Let's hope he's mustard :-)

I think he would be a decent signing.
He’s got a trick or two up his sleeve and my god do we need someone who can entertain & offer something a little different.

www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/42923/stoke-favourites-to-sign-celinaTWTD understands Stoke City are currently the favourites to sign Blues target Bersant Celina from Dijon. The proposed move is set to be a loan with a view to a permanent switch from the French club, who remain in French Ligue 2 and need Celina, who has another two years left on his contract, off their wage bill. Town have been in talks with Celina regarding his return to Portman Road for a third spell for much of the summer with the player understood to be keen on the switch. However, no deal has yet been reached and as it stands we understand Stoke is the 25-year-old’s most likely destination. Earlier in the summer Preston were keen but their interest is understood to have cooled, while Turkish clubs have been in talks more recently.

He any good? Anyone seen him play? From what the Ipswich fans are saying, and a few of the things on the other thread, he seems to be technically very gifted, but capable of burning very hot and very cold itfcanalytics.medium.com/scout-report-bersant-celina-ab7e64c0eac5www.eadt.co.uk/sport/ipswich-town/will-bersant-celina-come-back-to-itfc-9002796That’s his currency. He’s a player who can produce something out of nothing, turn a game on its head and electrify supporters. There were plenty of games in which you left feeling Celina was too good for League One and that he can do things nobody else in the division can.
His vision, his awareness and his passing ability under pressure can border on the sublime. He sees things others don’t and is capable of turning that into big moments.
But, just as was the case during his first year in Suffolk, there were other games when he didn’t figure as prominently as we would have hoped or expected. In many ways there is real symmetry between his two loan years. In both it’s been pretty clear Celina was right at the top of the squad list when it came to talent, but both times he made just 23 league starts, had quiet games and spells out of the team as a result.
There are mitigating factors this time around, given Celina’s arrival at Town came at a time when he was recovering from a Covid-related heart problem, which delayed his start to his second spell.
A slow start was understandable but he came on strong. He seemed to particularly enjoy Kieran McKenna’s football.

Instead of Sawyers, probably cheaper, maybe better but a low risk signing. Gouranga.

Another loan with a view to a permanent? A bit like Maja? I have to say i'm impressed with the new found off the pitch shithousing. Seems we've been brushing with the Turks too much, and it's rubbed off. "Sure Dijon, we'll buy him next summer..."

As Swans are my (very much!) 'second team' I saw quite a bit of him. Yes, on his day he's the type who gets fans off their seats when he gets the ball, but flatters to deceive a bit. At his best he's too good for the championship (or was). I hope we sign him.

We need to get him in here. If for nothing else, just to see what Nige can do with THAT name.
Now that I recall, (pretty sure it was just this past season) from what I saw, he looked decent. Is either quick or deceptively quick I can't recall. I just remember that he made a habit of getting through defenders and either by passing, or movement, getting into dangerous areas. But I haven't watched him 25 times.
