Great win for the Irish against the All Blacks, some intensity in that match.
And good to see the All Blacks so sporting in defeat and the commentator to acknowledge it. Great stuff all round.

I haven't got it unfortunately as I would have liked to watch it today. We had a Prime free trial a little while ago just for a month. I personally think all England games in football, rugby union, and cricket should all be on terrestrial. I stopped having Sky Sports quite a while ago now due to the cost, and also because the wife ALWAYS seemed to be watching something else whenever anything decent was on Sky Sports, so I never got to watch it anyway. Does you missus have an amazon account she can have a free trial too 😉 Yes but she had a free trial at the same time I did but never bothered to tell me till I asked her today

Good win for Ireland over the All Blacks. Third win in 5 years as well.

Can't say I'm impressed by England so far, started really well, been a bit pedestrian ever since.

Think we'll need to be much better than that v S Africa.

Didn't see the game but the match report that I've read said it was a "dogged" victory, and that England put in a "solid performance and ground out a hard fought win". Sounds pretty dour without any really memorable moments, although Owen Farrell apparently did well and kicked 17 points.

I watched the game and if we play like that against South Africa next week we'll get beaten easily. We had all the ball, territory and Australia were awful yet they were in the game with about 10 minutes to go which should never have happened.
I think the injury to Farrell might turn out to be a blessing if I'm honest.

Didn't watch the England game but it looks like we're still conceding penalties left, right and centre.
Can see Ireland having a good 6 Nations

He needs a good 6 Nations otherwise I'd re-set before the World Cup.

I think the injury to Farrell might turn out to be a blessing if I'm honest. We do not look good. Without Aussies getting sin binned all over the place I dunno what would have happened. Tbf I'm sure I remember some years before the last WC we looked all disjointed and then Jones got them together and cut out the stupid penalties. We're in that mess again so I expect the Boks to roll over us.

England women making their male counterparts look terrible again another 50pt game. Tbf I think if the England men were playing the same opposition they might have managed 50 points! My impression is that the women's game is finally getting some more attention and resources so is progressing quickly. But that's a recipe for huge gaps between teams & countries, so the men's game has a bigger pool for competitive "top tier" games. Is that anywhere close to true?

Absolutely battered us in that 2nd half but only 1 try against. Bit lucky that he missed two kicks (plus the drop goal from Le Roux(?)) that he normally makes but Smith was quality to hold his nerve. In Raffi Quirke we have another potential 100 capper - & that could be the partnership for the next ten years (with Smith).
Well placed for the 6 nations - Eddie is all about cycles. I don’t think we’ll win the 6 nations next year, I think he’ll be trying a few more faces and just blooding a few more youngsters to get us ready for 18 months of consistency and working towards one goal.
South Africa are an absolute beast of a team though and that’s without the likes of Colby or De Klerk.

Beating the Steroidbocks by a point is more satisfying than beating Australia by 15 at the moment.
I see France scored 40 points and beat NZ, back to back defeats for the All Blacks. I think they're in the same group at the next World Cup too. Ireland v France next year could be a classic.
I see Wales were helped by yet another red card to the opposition.
