It's hard ro differ between trocanteritis and arthritis at the hip. Can't lie down. Haven’t you got any painkillers? Surgery is the only option for me, but not during sleep ...

Haven’t you got any painkillers? I have no drug metabolism. I'm not allowed to take any painkillers. So (theoretically of course) you couldn’t take any recreational drugs as they’d have no impact?

I'm picked for research. So they take psa values and even MRIs regularly. Next time again next year. That’s brilliant. My Dr said she wouldn’t give me a PSA - come back when you’ve got symptoms. Madness.

Have you seen the local lions clubs do similar tests for a donation? I'll have to try and sort one at some point. They did some at Stoke in October I think, I just missed out as I didn't realise they were happening.

Madness. It reminds me of my doctor. The research group think it's wise to measure at the health clinic as well between visits to the research group, but I got the same answer as you ... However. It's only a few months left now and I've also recently seen an easy way to order whatever test you'd want to take, ordering online, pay, and then go to the chosen lab.

It's not a question of impact (if I understand the meaning of that word correctly). Everything has an impact. That's not the problem. It took three weeks to get the small dose of anesthetic to wear off after the dentist.

I was going to say effect or affect but I don’t know the difference and so I learnt a few years ago to say impact instead.

Thought I would update on my daughter she has had the lump removed. There was no cancer in her lymph nodes and they got a clean margin of cells. She is having chemo and radiotherapy, the chemo was optional but it gives her the best chance of a longer period of time before anything else could potentially develop % wise.

OK thanks, similar here, Mrs is over the cancer but her head is somewhere else, has been for a few weeks, I've run out of dry T shirts, mums been in hospital for an operation came out yesterday, and I'm in for a colonoscopy tomorrow, eek. Hopefully things will settle down before the end of the week. Sorry to hear that mate. Hope everything goes well for you. The polyp they removed was benign so all OK for me. 2nd time for me now, little buggers are after me ! However mum was rushed into hospital last Thursday night after sister was instructed to give CPR over the phone, (sister, who is one of the blood contaminated people so not at her best) mum is OK now and at home, I was WFH yesterday at her house looking after her, she does have carer visits 4 times a day, then back home to sort the wife out and cook tea as she's really down atm, finally got some medication for her with the doctors, friends funeral this afternoon, been a rough few weeks but I'm smiling, just about.

Went to the docs this morning for a sleep apnea consultation. Was dreading having my blood pressure taken as it’s usually sky high especially when the doc does it. But it was the lowest it’s been since I went to AandE with hypertension 4 years ago. Back to normal levels and talking about reducing my medication, it’s a huge relief to get some good news for a change. Next stop is a sleep study next week.

Sounds like my Mrs, every time they try to take her blood pressure she goes all anxious and it goes sky high; at the hospital a few weeks ago the nurse looked at the monitor when I was wired up and had to do a double take as I'm quite low, wife offered me some of her pressure. They put her on tablets for the blood pressure and now also on tablets for the other stuff, which is helping, getting a better few hours sleep a night now.

They stuck me on BP tablets after what I thought was a bout of vertigo.
It seemed to balance out after a while but I had a problem with freezing cold feet and plantar fascitis for about 18 months. I read up on it, being circulation related, and started taking gentle iron tablets which properly cleared it up, almost overnight.
I reckon it was iron deficiency anemia all along as it gives you the similar symptoms to hypertension. I've always been relatively fit, don't drink excessively or smoke but had the dizzy spell, got breathless walking upstairs, fatigue, and I even remember one day when it felt like somebody had transplanted Jamie Oliver's tongue into my mouth.
Worth being aware of if you're suffering similar. I'm still taking the candersarten but I want to try reducing this if my BP is lower than my last lot of records show.

I cleaned my windows the other day, well not one of them since it's impossible to open it. And when the winter is here it's no good idea to have it fixed or replaced, especially since it possibly has to be ordered. I'll wait until June/July here.
Anyway, I got cold obviously, so now I have caught a cold. The first I have for 3,5 years.

I had no fur on and it's 54 glass surfaces, large windows, for a couple of hours ... I was amazed how much dust there were outside on all the frames. I checked all the locks as well, and used two different type of lock sprays. Minus degrees.

Stress plays a factor in being susceptible to infection and Musik would have suffered both when undertaking that task.

Yes, stress is definitely just as cold temperature is, a factor affecting the immune system and putting it on a test.

thriva.co/shop/blood-tests/psa-blood-testThis will give you a prostate cancer test for £65.00 if your doctors is like mine and they won’t do a test because ‘come back when you’ve got some symptoms’ Cunts. There’s a general blood test one too that tests for all sorts of gubbins - I’ll see if I can find it. Liver, vitamin stuff and the like. They send a pack out and you just send a blood sample back.

It is. Though I wish we would do what Norwich do, having a matchday dedicated to mental health with a few videos on the big screens pre match and at half time, plenty could be done in the fanzone too. We’re fine doing BLM and rainbow laces stuff, and though it’s not a competition it really is a huge problem for society that I fear will only get worse the way things are going.

Good stuff indeed. Don Goodman did a piece for SKY as part of the Derby game build up (I think) 3 pts at QPR will help my mental health. I’ve only seen us lose in the flesh this season.

Didn't happen ☹️. Still raining so a wander on the beach isn't going to happen, shame she's 20 odd miles away. Given the opportunities for spectacular walks on the doorstep you end up trying to stay busy with other things, at least there hasn't been any bloody snow!.

Went to the young Swedish female physiotherapist I have on Friday afternoon. She moved my body parts and gave me some exercises to do at home for my hips.
Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with her again to fix my neck. Maybe then to the gym there later this week if not tomorrow.
