I got a letter this week saying they have no available appointments to any hand surgery in all of my region at any hospital whatsoever this year.
I will reply now asking how high the building is from where they sent that message.
I would like to know how many hand surgeons we have here covering about 3 million people and 25% of this country's surface.
I would guess 5.

I was supposed to get my X-rays done today during their drop in hours (hand and both elbows), but according to their website they need to do maintenance on their equipment. This is scheduled to happen on the whole of Monday and Tuesday before noon. So hopefully I can visit them on Tuesday afternoon or on Wednesday - who wants blurry pictures? I got the X-ray written call on Tuesday (by text message). I need to get in touch w my doctor at the Health clinic to get to know how long I can wait before the X-rays no longer can be taken. You have a certain amount of days here after the call. A week? Two weeks? No idea. But the doctor is on education and can't be reached.
Besides, there's not much you can see on X-rays, not nerve entrapments anyway.
I had an inner tooth extracted on Tuesday evening and are still affected by it - swollen w a slight fever, got a present dust allergy and a cold due to extreme low temperatures inside the flat atm (no warmth at all on the radiators and I expect a riot here soon). Furthermore, I visited someone in a total of 20+ hours during four days last week, and I just found out it was Covid-19 he had, so I will get a Covid-19-test done today.

But what Google doesn't explain is that it's also a term of art for a very niche genre of music. I just looked up the definition in my Frida Lyngstad Pocket Swedish-English dictionary: "Highly dramatic and atmospheric strings passage, typically used in horror films to accentuate extreme and bloody violence in baths and showers". |

Getting American physco vibes from you here Musik if I'm honest 😬 Haven't seen it. To calm you down, I was at the dentist (a new young female one) and she extracted my inner tooth. I was bleading a lot the first 20 hours or so, a lot, maybe lost 3 dl? Some of it might have come on my casual old favourite sweater I picked because I knew it would be a bloody dental visit. But it can also be from that steak I bought and sliced in the kitchen in the evening, it had a lot of blood inside of the package. When I buy a steak, I seldom do but now I did since my arms and hands are bad (still waiting for that hand surgeon appointment) and I thought I needed some extra protein, I use to slice it into pieces and put it into the freezer as soon as possible. Sorry to disappoint you. |

So had mri scan. Now got an appt Oct 1st with orthopaedic dept. Can’t see my scan results yet I have an appt to discuss next steps. I’ve now been told that the consultant won’t release the results to me until after my appt as he doesn’t want to worry or scare me. That’s ok then 🤨. Knees still needing ops but I’ve been told they’re not touching them or my other stenosis until this problem ( whatever it is ) has been addressed. Ho Hum. Hope you're coping ok hamsta, understand you had a scan recently. |
