I'm not at all surprised he wasn't in the squad.
When he came on against Huddersfield he looked totally disinterested imho

I actually thought Powell tried to do a few interesting things when he came on against Huddersfield, but it's difficult for players to stamp themselves on a game when things are as bleak as they were that night. He's not had any sort of run but will get his chance when one of our midfield quartet miss a game and then it's up to him to sray in the side. Don't write him off, he's good enough to offer something along the way.

I think he could give us that X factor & much needed goals, because as well as we have been playing in the last 2 games, I simply can't see us scoring enough goals.
