Whom does he come in for?
Who played badly enough to warrant dropping?

Should be on the bench instead of Ince as it'd be silly changing a winning formula

I actually thought Powell tried to do a few interesting things when he came on against Huddersfield, but it's difficult for players to stamp themselves on a game when things are as bleak as they were that night. He's not had any sort of run but will get his chance when one of our midfield quartet miss a game and then it's up to him to sray in the side. Don't write him off, he's good enough to offer something along the way. This is a perfectly reasonable and sensible view. Congratulations! Surely writing him off at this point is a little premature!

He should start against Wednesday, got that creative edge we need. I’m a big fan of Powell and look forward to seeing more of him, and we will, but why would you change our only twice winning team?

Where was he again yesterday? Funny how the only time he has been fit is when we were on telly, bet he suddenly appears vfor West Brom game. Another really poor signing! He got injured when he was on Question of Sport ☹️

To help create something, it all went through Gregory on Saturday. His flick on for Campbell, his pass for Allen, put Campbell through the second time and the pass for Hogan when he won the penalty. Allen is playing in the creative role but didn't vs Fulham, he's also a poor captain.

You know very well that’s not going to happen, and it should not happen, because Powell doesn’t do the amount of running and chasing that Allen does. Powell will have to bide his time before he gets his chance, but he will eventually.

Powell does put a shift, he did for Wigan against us and did for us against QPR whilst being kicked to pieces.

Allen is not creating enough. Yeah he hassles players for the ball but come on. With a proper number 10 we would create so many more chances than we do.
The positives must outweigh the negatives.
We all know Allen can never be dropped however.
Hopefully he will score a hat-trick now Ive just slagged him off but I somehow doubt it.

I still don't think the midfield at present will supply enough goals for us to be considered as free scoring. We simply won't score enough to win or kill off games.

He is not going to play a 'proper' no10 while playing 2 up top as it would leave us light in midflield. Also, Allen has been an integral part of a team that has won back to back games, and other than miss a good chance to score v Fulham has done nowt wrong. You and your lynch mob will have to wait another day...

You and your lynch mob will have to wait another day... Allen was outstanding against Swansea, the run into box that lead to the Clucas goal was great. This game had come after a break out of the team though. He's played internationally while Powell has been resting at home, playing well in a behind the scenes friendly. I think as much as Allen won't personally complain about being tired you can see it in his play. He should be rested either tonight or Saturday, so he doesn't play 3 games in a week with the running he does.

Just introduce Powell on after 60 minutes or so, depending on how things are panning out. He won't go straight into the side.

Stupid question of the day....: Do you get 100% wages when your injured or sick....
Even if your not in the squad, surely it’s not 100%..???

Stupid question of the day....: Do you get 100% wages when your injured or sick.... Even if your not in the squad, surely it’s not 100%..??? Of course, what a ridiculous question. Players would have to be hyper-cautious and the game would be completely ruined if what you propose was the way things were handled. If a player is injured it's rightly on the club, if it's some freak career ending injury then I believe there are insurance policies clubs take out on most every player and otherwise it's a matter of diligence, are many surprised Nick Powell is injured? It's been his life story.

What this team is crying out for is a quality number 10. Powell is talented but made of straw which makes the decision to release Bojan from his contract totally absurd, especially when you factor in Mark Duffy!!

Duffy certainly lacked match sharpness, but offered enough to suggest he has value.

Duffy ran the show second half. In what way? He was pivotal in every attack we mustered. Always went looking for the ball and used it tidily. He certainly shouldn't be subject to criticism on that performance considering the circumstances of him replacing Etebo so early on and the fact he has been rarely on the pitch this season. I thought he played well.

I thought he played well. Didn’t think he did anything to suggest he should have had more game time than he’s had. Pivotal in attack but we were as blunt as a butter knife, no real threat on their goal. Opinions eh
