Its because the fans know shit all and just guess based on pretty much nothing. Hi Mark, how are you doing? Sorry to hear the news today I doubt he's too bothered tbh, he probably got paid stupid money to get ignored.

Funny that NJ mentions Cartwright's 'professionalism' - fans and colleagues seem to have very divergent views? Its because the fans know shit all and just guess based on pretty much nothing. I think fans are acutely aware of well over three years of terminal self inflicted decline. The managers have been the first to pay, its only right and proper now that wiser considerations and reviews are taking place. That's just the way of pretty much all business.

I’ve had an absolute shit of a day but this has bucked me up massively, without doubt he’s played a massive role in our decline, as said one down one to go.

"In addition to many other matters has been instrumental in helping to bring some magnificent players to the Club." ergo "In addition to many other matters has been instrumental in helping to bring some absoultely destructibve and dibaolical pieces of shit to the Club." See ya Mark Funny that NJ mentions Cartwright's 'professionalism' - fans and colleagues seem to have very divergent views? I've worked with people who have been "professional", and at the same time, not very good.

What was Luton setup like, might we go that same route on the advice of the manager? Will we be even raiding luton for the managers staff from his last club?

Was he pushed or did he jump? Nobody in their right mind jumps. You wait for the payoff. As he's not got a job to go to he's been pushed.

Reckon with NJ influence he has actively been encouraged to seek new challenges. Think the error of shit purchases is now really beginning to hit home with stoke. Knowing the clusterfuck of ridiculously wank signings is now beginning to punish the club and become more apparent. Hopefully the club have seen the new direction and the feel good factor around the place has enforced the hierarchy decision

Who's going to watch new signings 25 times now? The same people that did before probably, the rest of the scouting team.

If true then they should also be looking for new jobs in the very near future, hopefully fat boy's departure will lead to the truth coming out about the responsibility for our obvious lack of due diligence surrounding many of our transfer dealings.

interesting that when TP thought we didn't need a mark cartwright ,no one would listen When Jones thinks we don't need a mark cartwright , they will listen
I would be interested to know , how much money those running the club spent on deciding ( eventually ) they agree with the TP and Jones
IF there ever was , ' a role ', it was probably what TP had in mind , when he wanted to bring in top class former England internationals like Gerry Francis and Peter Reid , for advice and a second opinion on transfer spending , coaching , team shape and game management .
I can genuinely understand why a TP or an NJ might want to listen to the opinion of Francis and Reid on all of the above .
But why on earth, would they be interested in Mark Cartwrights opinion , on any of it ?
The very reason ‘the process’ was introduced was because Pulis had lost his marbles in the transfer market. If memory serves me right in the August Window of 2012/2013 which was Pulis’s last season he brought in several “low” cost signings plus N’Zonzi, Adam and Cameron. In the January window (Cartwright joined in December) Butland and Shea joined. There’s no was way that Shea was a Pulis player. Wasn’t Butland’s agency Beswicks? So you can see a link there

So you can see a link there Shea definitely wasn't and that always came across as a power play. If Butland wasn't, I can't imagine Pulis being unhappy about it as he knew a keeper when he saw one. Adam and Nzonzi cost around £8m between them, which was still fairly significant for us at that time, and he quickly showed he hadn't the foggiest what to do with Adam. If you look at the signings we made from the 2011 summer window to the 2012 summer window, precious few of the numerous players he signed actually regularly got into his teams. The likes of Cameron, Adam, Nzonzi and arguably even Crouch looked far better players for Stoke once Pulis had gone and Hughes got a better tune out of them.

Fancy being the person who calls for wholesale redundancies from a company, despite knowing jack shit whether or not the people involved are good at their jobs or have been following guidelines set down to them correctly.
