that he might actually be crap. He looks really awful and I can't see one of our on the beach pre seasons doing much to pep him up. I don't like having a go at players but I am really worried. Am I wrong to be?

He's not a lone striker, the rest of the squad aren't suited to a 4-4-2
All in all he's a 10 on the Mark Hughes scale of "we'll squeeze him in somewhere" signings

He's coming closer and closer to scoring. Have to take into account the problems he had at West Brom and now coming into a Stoke side where we create fuck all.

The two headers today were piss poor , he shouldn't play again this season . He is way off the pace required .

Given that his strengths are supposedly his finishing and movement, he missed two sitters today and was mostly stationery today.
Think Tone's sold us a dud.

A thought that struck me is. It's 11 games now without a goal. If Diouf had the chance to play that many, would he do any worse?

He missed two sitters today take those rose tinted specs. off, he's been here the best part of four months and scored the square rate of fuck all created the square root of fuck all not like he has moved here from abroad like Gabbadini is it ?

Yea that's why they wouldn't sell him for window after window, and offered him a new contract; they were trying to hide him from the rest of the world because he is no good. (Irony) Give me strength; the faith and support of some Stoke supporters.

Berahino has always been 'piss poor' in the air, we knew this when we signed him.
He has to play in every game left this season as we (at least) start to attempt to play to his strengths, if he we don't, then we might as well give up on him (and the manager as well).

I don't doubt that he's very talented, but you have to question his motivation. You'd think he'd be super eager to prove himself.

Hughes has stated that we will see the best of him next season. Thus, playing him regularly gives the impression that this seasons results May get lucky or be written off. This is difficult for anyone who has paid their money expecting things to " happen" this season. Hughes has nailed his colours to a Berahino mast. You have to wonder what Diouff, Bony, Joselu, Bojan may have done with the same luxury of selection. Even Crouch, Walters, or Shaqiri don't seem to have been given that luxury of comfort without end product, before being dropped. As for Muniesia and Sobhi.............if selection is based upon principle I.e who is playing well, then such anomalies surely should not happen ? If it's not based upon such principles, then all the conspiracy theories and vitriol that are being thrown at the management appear deserved if not substantiated.

Said when he signed that his scoring record was similar to Sidibe's.
Huge gamble to pay big bucks for a player who had a purple patch a few years ago.

He absolutely has to stick with Berahino starting, if he doesn't, then (with Imbula not even making the bench) he (and he absolutely knows it) virtually signs his own P45.
If their signings had been the other way round (chronologically), then he'd be sticking with Imbula now.
All about politics.

I was merely pointing out that the iniquity leads to conspiracy. The constant changing of selection and formation engenders the perception that the manager neither knows his best team or best formation. Add that to the perception that a player cannot be dropped leads to conspiracy theories and anger in the face of piss poor performance. I am not condoning or justifying, I am just pointing out that frustrated punters will inevitably jumps to a conclusion , or after an interminable trend wil, adopt a perception. I really hope it comes right, it just feels like it hasn't for a long time.

It's starting to be a worry no doubt. He should be warmed up by now but every chance he misses gets more glaring with every passing weekend. The one on half time could make you cry.
He no more looks a 15-20 man than me.

Diouf is a better utility man. Berahino will come good. Full backs are the main problem,

We are going to hell in a hindcart when Saido is deployed similarly
