Bristol City - not won in 3 - came to Stoke and won WBA not won in 4 came to stoke and won Wigan ……………not won in 3 - I’m sure stokes generous defence and shot shy forwards/ strikers - at home only- will have a say in that game

Pearson was more affected by the refereeing decision than anyone - when he plays deep he’s trouble - and it’s not the first time he’s lost the ball that’s cost us dearly. Jury’s out on him for me - needs someone like him that can tackle without fouling and has a cool head. What a pantomime of a game though

Whilst Pearson is our playmaker, he’s great in creative positions going forward, but when he plays from the back he is actually a liability. Yes the ref was awful and in a game where both sides played the game to their own abilities, his poor decision making caused friction between the two teams, which is the absolute opposite of what a ref should do. Yes we have the worse of the decisions, but Pearson made a mistake for the first and Jagielka was left at right back against a younger quicker player who made the cross for the second goal.
Not a lot in it really and quite frankly it was entertaining as the pantomime season due to the inept referee and his linesmen. The latter let a ball at least a foot out for a West Brom corner go into play and a couple of offsides that did not lead to goals missed. The whole team needs demoting to division 2 or the national league.
AN will sort us out in the summer and hold tight for a powerful challenge next year.

At the time of AN using subs, Powell was just a non event and at 60 minutes, I thought he would pull Powell, put Tymon on lef5 side, switch Campbell to right withBrown in the middle and see how that worked. Baker just doesn’t want to be here and lost the ball easily. We allowed the cross for their 1st goal and no challenge on the header. To put Fox on was suicide as he could not keep up with the break that led to 2nd Goal.
Out in summer - Powell, Baker, Fox obviously Jagielka will go and a few others

Car park management - so many spaces all over in front of the main stands - some cars on there just seem to park anywhere - see Landrover “Danny” parks where the fucking hell he likes - who is he?

Could do with a couple in the playoff positions getting deductions to give us a chance

I know it’s very unlikely, but can you imagine Stoke making the last 6th place in playoffs and the form team? What a dream that would be and what an end to the season - at least there is a good run in to look forward to then a tweaking of the team in pre-season - thank you John Coates for getting the right manager in the end, but let’s keep him.

So John Coates can take credit for decisive move with MON out & AN in - credit where credits due - whatever JC said to him to leave Sunderland where he was building them into a competitive side needs framing.

AN has th3 team playing as a team - momentum is so important, but gets disrupted every now and again such as internationals - but if we can stay focused 11 points behind play offs - you never know even though highly unlikely

As long as Sarkik injury is quad and nothing to do with previous dislocated shoulder - history of ongoing issues with shoulders popping out

We should not underestimate Gayles contribution not always physical but as a focal point leaving others space

Pity he isnt two footed as that chance he made getting past Dunk just needed his foot putting through it high over the goalies shoulder and we would have scored. Too often he ends up in the wrong position and having to shoot on his right foot

Can’t be worse result than Saturday against a team that hadn’t won since October

Better teams at home will not be parking their bus like the lower teams - and thats where we have problems opening them up or even getting behind them - so if AN's theory is correct and a bit of good fortune overdue, we could win this - dont think we ever play for a draw under AN - he is positive unlike MON

Football clubs are polar opposites to most businesses - Alan Sugar gave up with Spurs and there are many examples of successful business men struggling when they get involved with Football clubs - Mike Ashley the list goes on - just look at the other side of the city for more examples with Mr Bell & his successor Smurthwaite.
We are better placed now higher up with Football experience now that the Cartwright, Scholes have been replaced. It will just take AN time to rectify and consolidate the aftermath of previous managers - who were all successful in their own right but the job at Stoke was massive after the debacle that was Mark Hughes

AN is the right manager at this point in time for Stoke - there will not be a relegation or play offs although a few wins and we will easily finish top 10 and we will win more than we lose to the end of the season. Every Manager needs time its still a team of previous managers. As for getting rid of the Coates Family - whoever wishes for that is a complete moron.
Just like the youth or lets say -the under 30's - In their life they want everything now without a bit of graft - throw away society - ignorant, unappreciative and thankless

Look at the results around even premier league where a defensive minded team can prevail - rebuild is the order of the day -this season is gone - we not going to be relegated or promoted so don’t panic - trust me with the guys brought in and AN we will get sorted next season - either automatic place or play offs - this manager has a long term brief from Owners - we know there have been issues within the club and players that do not have their heart and sole will be gone -e.g. Powell, Fox, Clucas etc watch out Campbell

Stoke overall have better players and should win today. However, one big issue for me is Morgan Fox, left fullback or back three left side against th3cbest winger in the Championship, Josh Bowler. Now if we can’t keep him quiet he will be gangrenous to assist or cut inside and score himself. Pity AN could’nt get him on board, a winger that takes people on.
Fingers crossed Fox has one of his better games and he gets backed up to handle Bowler!

He’s not very quick, his passing and crossing is the worst part of his game. Best part of his game is heading and staying in position, doesn’t venture up much. You get what you pay for in this division - just like most of them.
