Yes, it was Carragher who took him out against Liverpool.
Thanks for the feedback folks- anyone else you'd like to see me try and track down?!

Before Saturday the last time we didn't use all three subs was on 21 March against Palace. In 2015 Hughes has made 63 substitutions out of a possible 72 in the league. Having trouble sleeping, mate? It's been bugging me Forget counting sheep, it's all about substitutions!

The players with the best opportunity would be Begovic or Butland, but I still doubt they would come above Valdes in his XI.
Wilson Palacios probably in with a shout too...

I had a chat with Mikael Hansson at the back end of last week. Here's what he had to say, as I look back on his Stoke career. I hope you enjoy it- he was a terrific player for Stoke.

The latest round-up is in, and there were plenty of former Stokies on target. Jay Bothroyd is in magnificent form over in Japan (if anyone cares!) and Cameron Jerome scored his first Premier League goal since April 2014.

I'm going with the hope that everybody makes it through fitness tests, but Arnie to come off the bench after drinking too much celebratory Red Bull after Austria's qualification: Butland Johnson Cameron Muniesa Pieters Whelan Van Ginkel Ireland Shaqiri Walters Diouf Here is a little look at our trip to A-R-S-E-N-A-L in letters... and a preview from three Stokies, including the legend that is JoeinOz.

Nice one, elliothackney- another good watch and listen. I met Robbie in a motorway services last year- nice chap. As for that Ty bloke, I went on a TV show with him back in the days of Setanta and he was a complete and utter kn0b back then. His appearances on Arsenal TV back that up...

Stoke are back in action this weekend thankfully. Did you know our trip to Arsenal will be Stoke's first away match after the first international break of a Premier League season? Have you wondered how Stoke get on after that first break? (probably not...) Well, I wondered and came up with this information. Should we fail to win at Arsenal we'd be on course to gain an unwanted club Premier League record...

Thanks for that. Great stuff.
It was a shame that our followings to Wolves seemed to dwindle (or dingle?!) in the latter stages of our time in the Championship.
