So lucky to have had him as a manager when the club was on its knees. He picked us up and made us proud again. Now he's doing the same with the less fortunate. What an excellent human being he is

I guess I better go and wrap up the plants for the winter storm thats about to hit Houston. Positives first half. Chester and Souttar and the fact we are only 2-0 down Grow a pair MON and sub Allen and Clucas and go 4-4-2 with wingers. As it stands we currently have ZERO points and same team guarantees that outcome. One of the lads from our Houston office sent me a pic of Calgary temp vs Mt Everest. We were colder. He also said he was shitting it for this weekend as you were down to -2. 😁

I do have some sympathy for him He is / was a good footballer He got plenty of stick for smiling and chatting away with his ex colleagues after our heavy defeat at Spurs Plenty of players do this A bit like Wollscheid, who played well for us most of the time, the majority of fans never liked him Hope he gets plenty of football at his new club He was never a good footballer for us, not his fault we spunked £18m on him not his fault he's a bit well shit, where he is at fault is his lack of effort, application, desire and his poor physical condition, those things are down to him and him alone. Still can't get my head around the fact we paid 18m for him when Spurs had only paid 3.5m 18 months before was it? All he did for Stoke was put on weight.

It wasn’t poor ref decision he got it spot on, Walters was in an offside position in front of the goalie when the shot came in. How they came to this decision though I will never know as it took me at least 6 looks at slow motion replays to pick it out, I’m sure we got done here by an early version of var, as it must of been a good minute before it was disallowed. I believed this for a long time until I realised there’s an Arsenal defender out of shot on the most obvious angle of it who is playing everyone on. Would have to look again now to be sure but I definitely came to the conclusion nobody was offside. I remember the commentators having no idea what it was called for. They didn't know if it was Walters or Diouf (which is understandable given the skin colour) and whether it was offside or interference. There was an Arsenal player coming onto the pitch from behind the goal which ruled the offside out. Interference was a bollocks call and over the years we received so many. First and pretty much only club to be punished for holding in the box ring a bell?

That would still be my favourite. I couldn't remember the final score, just that we won and absolutely smashed them in that first half. I have an Arsenal mate who texted me at 1 or 2 nil simply saying "this could be six". And only a poor refereeing decision stopped it from being so. I was sitting on a coach in Quebec getting texted by a Liverpool fan who said we were terrifying. Absolutely uncontrollable, fluid movement all over the front and scoring for fun. I couldn't believe it when I saw the recording and that shithouse ref denied Bojan the 4th. If that had been allowed it would have been a bigger win than the Liverpool game for sure. Their heads had gone.

Those prices have gone up a bit since I looked maybe 4 years ago. From memory, Chilliwacks were about £550-600 when I looked. £650 for the special. I used W. Slack in Mansfield when searching for CG. They used to stock a good selection. I see they will no longer sell CG in 2021 so have a CG stock clearance sale on now. Pricing seems to be based on the Foreign exchange rate at a point in time. GBP has been in the shitter for a couple of years even against our 3rd world currency. In Canada our price seems to go up about $100 a year on average.

Leeds were always going to stay up Great manager amongst other things This season who will be the Leeds? I went to watch Leeds v Preston last year with Jack Harrison’s dad & their football was superb. One touch with speed. I never doubted they would hold their own. No different than the Dingles when they went up.

Extreme is max -5 here at its worst, obviously your extreme would be far below this no doubt. CG is a brand that’s pretty ugly, straight cuts and, well ugly and nothing special to look at and if I wanted to keep warmer I’d bang a nice cashmere jumper on under my Moncler. In truth I’d go for fashion over CG everyday as their ranges look my old snorkel school jacket from decades ago. If it was really cold I’d stop in in truth 👍 Even in these days of Climate Change there are still plenty of places in the North of England and Scotland which see temperatures of well below -5 degrees C. Most winters the low on my outdoor thermometer in my garden in the Lake District reaches minus 12 and minus 20 is not all that uncommon in parts of Scotland. I was on Helvellyn summit 3 miles from home two years ago and the temperature was officially minus 20 (according to the fell top assessor who I happened to meet) - but the wind chill was actually minus 40!!!!!!! Minus 5 would feel like a sub tropical paradise on a day like that! I needed ski goggles to stop my eyelids freezing. Humidity and wind are the biggest factors with cold. -20c in your neck of the woods would be a lot worse than -20c here in Calgary. We have zero humidity during the winter, -5c you don't need a coat on really. I remember when i first came here I came home for Xmas and went to a night game. It was -5c, wet and I was bloody freezing. After -20c your body can't really tell the difference, any exposed areas just start to freeze. -52c is the lowest i have been in and it was supposed to be 10c lower due to the wind. As Questionable says, on some days you just stay in

Great coats as long as you don’t mind the killing of wolves to make them 🤦♂️ Yep real animal fur, scummy brand and should be banned. I’ve got a Moncler, just as good if not better and around the same price bracket. An Italian designer ski coat beats a Canadian coat designed for extreme winter conditions? $ for $ there is zero comparison. One is a fashion brand, the other was built to withstand Arctic conditions that became fashionable. Give your head a wobble. Granted CG is now selling some fashion product that is less extreme but i’d put Moncler with the Stone Island or Burberry version. Nice to walk around in but you’d freeze your tits off if you broke down on Hwy 1.

There's only so many folk willing and able to pay these sums for fashionable warm coats - how come there's no second hand market for when the owners have had enough of them? (Or maybe there is any l've not come across it) I’d suggest Their durability is one of their strengths .. those that need / use them in the climate , rigours or conditions they’re designed for as opposed to a fashion item have bought them with that in mind..they’ll wear them until they fall apart ..or they fall out of favour due to quality control issues that can occur when you start to produce millions of items as opposed to thousands Their rise as a ‘fashion’ item as opposed to a piece of ‘kit’ bought to keep you alive , is only within the relative last few years .( though they’ve been around much , much longer ) .a few years of leisure wear in the life these garments is nothing .. they’re made and meant to be worn hard .high end fashion ( genuine) wear has a limited 2nd hand market ..as many people buying for leisure / fashion use , want either the genuine new article or a snide one at a snide price ..when the next top end outdoor apparel becomes mainstream popular ..as opposed to just on the edge , they’ll no doubt be ditched in their thousands .. There’s others in the wings hoping to be the next ‘fashion , ie moncler , they’re actually probably more suited for the leisure / market , rather than rigours of top , top high end performance , , more slimline fit , is a candidate , but they’re dearer still than CG , so will CG wearers move brand into them .. ..or possibly ARC'TERYX..time will tell Pretty much hit the nail on the head there Scouse. My wife has had the Chilliwack parka for about 6 years and it looks like new. The quality is off the charts. My lightweight Perren is 3 years old and is good but not to the parka standard but then it only cost half of what the parka does. I don't rate the Moncler product at all but the Arcteryx are generally a very good coat and decent price. Bear in mind that in Calgary we can have snow anywhere between September and June so a good coat is essential but nothing beats layering up.

They're keeping details of any possible options secret for some reason. schalke04.de/en/team/rabbi-matondo-moves-stoke-city/Winger Rabbi Matondo has left FC Schalke 04 to sign on loan at Stoke City until the end of the 2020/21 season. The Royal Blues and the Championship side have agreed to keep the details of the deal undisclosed. The Welsh international’s contract at Schalke runs until 30th June 2023. "Rabbi Matondo came to us with the wish of a sporting change,” said Jochen Schneider, Head of Sport and Communication. “We believe the change in environment will do both sides good.” Straight swap for Wimmer at the end of the season once he's completed his weightwatchers program..............you heard it here first.

It's a loan and will have repayment terms. But for the fact that this is a Premier League team that we dislike would we give a shit? All football clubs have been impacted, I just hope the lower league teams are able to access this type of Govt support. Yep has to be repaid by May so probably no good for the efl, Tottenham have had one since last year. No love for arsenal but every fanless home game probably costing them £5m+ a home game, there is not enough money in football to cover that, players still have to be paid.... God willing, by May they could be in the EFL

In my area of the US they trap coyotes whenever possible (In relocation traps) and shift them to other wildlife lands. There have been attacks on domestic pets and livestock. Like many feral animals, some carry rabies, (like the fans at Molineaux). They face no predators except humans & vehicles, so the population has exploded over the past few years - they are even starting to show up in cities. I remember seeing a video of them roaming Phoenix, AZ foraging in dumpsters (So they must be Liverpool fans). With their population exploding and the human population doing the same - habitats are colliding. Locally I see them semi-regularly, almost always at night and they quickly shy away. They have jumped 6 foot tall (Approx. 1.8 meter) privacy fencing to get at pets so my 20 lb. Boston Terrier doesn't go out at night unless one of us is with her. My next door neighbor watched one hurdle his fence just last week - as soon as it spotted him, it quickly leapt back over. They've attacked/killed 3 small dogs in my town over the past couple of years. I was shocked at how small they are. (Approx. size of a medium sized dog) Only time I've heard of any being shot at was when they were pack-attacking cattle, but that is rare. A landowner once told me that a single shot even in the air will scatter them - they aren't stupid. Some have expressed concern that a pack will attack a child, but no instances of that yet. I hear them in packs out in the fields at night (Like drunk Man City fans whooping and hollering) - but you usually only see one (Must be the scout) and he runs off. You can differentiate them from dogs at night because of the yellowy eyes. But no sightings of the ice age coming or the sun zooming in yet. Some nice descriptions on there Since the first lockdown we had in March we have seen a massive amount of wildlife come into the city not dissimilar to the goats in Llandudno. Coyote sightings/numbers were up 67% at the start of the year and have only increased, we have moose and Lynx (bobcats) wandering around our suburb on a regular basis and during the summer the black bears have been in the yards too. The real scary ones are the cougars though, they are the only predator that the coyotes face apart from us. Many pet kills are not reported because they are so frequent. Our friend had to listen to their cat being pulled apart in their neighbours backyard a couple of months back. Here are a few tasters. calgary.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1568369edmonton.ctvnews.ca/toddler-in-hospital-after-an-apparent-coyote-attack-in-edmonton-park-1.4907862globalnews.ca/video/3988258/northwest-calgary-resident-warns-of-wildlife-danger-after-family-dog-killed-in-coyote-attack/calgary.ctvnews.ca/cougar-hit-by-vehicle-1.438873Coyotes are a dangerous animal and while I wouldn't wish them to be killed inhumanely I have no issues in their numbers being kept in check.

Given that you have no idea what animal is being killed I doubt very much whether you have any idea of the trapping techniques used. Many of the trappers are first nations peoples who know more about what's right and wrong in the trapping department than me and you. He’s a First Nation from the Staffordshire moorlands and he knows about trapping, how do you think that they get their mates to breed with ? He sends a couple of ferret down the burrow then pens em in, backs to the wall?
