It’s both funny and true. I don’t think I’ve watched an away game this season. I watch every game, most of them through the club's official stream though. It's strange though how we struggle to win home games after a good start at home this season. I was in the stands for the Rotherham home game and the WBA cup game. I also consider coming over for our last game of the season, but haven't decided yet.

As much as I will laugh at everyone for refusing to see that Rose and McNally are clearly our best centre half partnership and that Wilmot is fucking wank, all three in an ideal world aren’t here next year. I think Rose would be fine as third choice next season tbh. I'm guessing Wilmot was injured though 😉😂 Think Wilmot was an unused sub, and hopefully he will be for the rest of the season too!

I travel over from Norway twice a year to watch Stoke, and me and my wife always stay in a hotel in Hanley. If it's sunny I think it's OK to have a couple of beers at the Harvester before the game. Never experienced anything but a good atmosphere there. Always a lot of away fans too, but as said always a good atmosphere there. I'm not sure I'd go to Ricardo's instead to be honest, but as a first time experience you probably should. Hopefully you'll have a good experience and see us climb 3 points closer to safety!

I really don't want Liverpool to win as most of their Norwegian fan base are so stuck up! They need to be brought down to earth! I hope Arsenal will win, espesially if it's between Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal! I hope Vale stay up too.

He was MOM in my opinion. Our central defence looks much better when we play 4 at the back, and with a left back who knows his position too! It also helps to keep Wilmot on the subs' bench!

Really quick question Why is it that some posters ONLY EVER rate the players when we lose? They only watch home games?

I like Stevens when fit, but as said in there lies the problem! He is way too injury prone to take the risk for another season in my opinion. Bring in two new left backs I say! Thompson for 5-6K per week would make sense for a couple of years, but he should only be back up as he already is of course! Stevens gets paid £20,000 per week; £1,040,000 a year and is the 4th highest ‘earner’ at the club. Just another reason why we shouldn't extend his contract!

I don't like him because I think we have better players on the subs bench, and to be honest even players not on the subs bench like Sidibe. I really struggle to see what Cundle brings to the team! He is weak as piss defensively and when going forward you can bet he will misplace the simplest of attacking balls as well, as he of course did yesterday too. No, this was a wasteful loan when we should have brought a left back in instead, and this has cost us so far to be honest. I agree with most of that but he was better than a 5 yesterday. I don’t think overall he’s added anything really and looks a bit of a nothing player but he was decent enough yesterday, worth a 7 for me. Opinions you know.

Iverson 8, another good game! Hoever 7, good game! Stevens 7, a couple of minor mistakes at the end, but all in all a good game. Rose 8, MOM for me this afternoon! McNally 7, good game! Thompson 7, solid! Laurent 7, solid! Cundle 5, don't like him! Haka 6, too little end product, but tried hard! Leris 7, works his socks off! Mmaee 6, decent game. Subs Bae 6, wasted too many balls in my opinion. Vidigal 5, should have scored! Baker 6, good while he was on. A much better choice than Cundle in my opinion. Ennis 6, really defends from the front! I'd replace Thompson with Burger, Cundle with Baker and Haksa with Bae on Monday! So you’ve marked Cundle 5 because you don’t like him and not on his actual performance Kin ell I don't like him because I think we have better players on the subs bench, and to be honest even players not on the subs bench like Sidibe. OK, he didn't have the best working conditions as a lone striker, but still he only had a lucky assist to show for his efforts. I thought he did OK, but this was certainly not a performance worth an 8 or even a 7 in my opinion. If this was an 8 performance we certainly don't expect much from our strikers anymore! In comparison I thought Ennis did a better job as the first defender after coming on. None of them had a shot on goal though! I would t say it was a lucky assist. It’s no coincidence that we’ve scored 2/3 goals now from corners flighted in and headed to the far post for a tap in. It looks to be something we’ve worked on on set pieces. Don't think so, but you're entitled to your opinion.

Yes, Bae was wasteful in possession several times after coming on. Obviously I've only seen the highlights but his involvement in those assisted the goal and almost singlehandedly created a chance for Leris with a run full of skill and determination across the box. Can you be more specific as to how he was wasteful? I suspect he produced more in those twenty minutes than Campbell has all season. When Tyrese comes on with twenty minutes to go he is usually lucky to get near the ball twice. He lost the ball several times when in possession, as simple as that!

Genuine question because I didn't see the match but his stats look very impressive. On the pitch for just over twenty minutes, 19 touches, 100% pass completion of 9 passes, two key passes including an assist. It's hard to imagine how he could have been less wasteful. Yes, Bae was wasteful in possession several times after coming on.

I honestly don't think that performance is worth more. Not a single attempt on goal for a striker during a game? Assist for the goal and lacked any service at all. Excellent line striker show. Look at everyone else’s ratings One glancing header after a corner kick that accidentally fell to a team mate doesn't warrant more than a 6 from me, sorry.

Could we please keep it tight at the back and win this one! 3 points here will more or less secure our stay in the Championship as I see it.

I agree to that, but I get the impression that SS rates Thompson, I don't. TBF most fans on here thought Thompson is just as good as Pearson before the game. He clearly isn't even close. I was never one of them!

SS seems to think 5 at the back makes us more solid, but in fact it's quite the opposite. We need to play 4 at the back and should do that the whole season. We also need to make sure we sign players able to fill in at this system. If we stay up I really hope we can bring in two left backs, two central defenders if not the promising young one out on loan can make a claim for one spot, another winger with pace and a striker able to get into double figures and of course a goalkeeper. Wesley, Campbell, Haksa, Cundle, Hoever, Stevens, Clarke and McNally will be finished here because the loans or contracts are up. I would also offload Johnson and consider offloading Wilmot and Thompson. Another summer with lots of outs and ins I guess! Goalkeepers: Iversen/Travers, Bonham + a youngster. Left backs: 2 new needed. Right backs: Junior and Gooch. Central defenders: Rose, the youngster out on loan, Wilmot?, a new one or two. Midfield: Burger, Pearson, Laurent, Baker, Junho, Sidibe, Thompson?. Wingers: Manhoef, Vidigal, Junho, + one or two new faces. Strikers: Mmaee, Ennis, + one at least. I’d have Wilmot nowhere near this team. He’s been here nearly 3 years and he’s no better now than when we signed him. He’s a centre half in right backs body. Better!? I think he has gone the other way to be honest! Seems to have lost his pace as well which was his biggest asset.

Miles better than Wilmot and Rose! He can even defend! And was on more money than both combined That was probably the big problem!

I know we had to because of the circumstances, but Thompson is such a downgrade to Burger and Pearson that we can't expect to be at the same level. Thompson is a league one player and that's it. No we didn't. We had the chance to move Laurent back there and bring Manhoeff or Mmaee on. Better still we should have gone to a back four with Wilmot going off as we had already seen Norwich exploiting the space between the centre halves and wing backs. To me Schumacher just panicked and brought on Thompson as a like for like rather than thinking more laterally and using the opportunity to change the system. I agree to that, but I get the impression that SS rates Thompson, I don't.

Thought we really folded when Pearson had to leave the pitch. We went from Burger to Pearson, to Thompson in a matter of 25 mins. Awful downgrade. There’s no doubt he got it massively wrong today with the way we set up but he wasn’t helped at all by the spineless bastards on the pitch either😡 Thought we really folded when Pearson had to leave the pitch.
