Hull up next, do we know of any injury updates? obviously Burger is the big miss and I've not seen any updates on Pearson's injury but the likelihood is Thompson comes in. I think we'll need Ennis in up top for Campbell for his work rate alone.
Looks like a full house thanks to Hull's excellent ticket offer, hopefully we can spoil the party.

Lucky ground for me. Not been in recent years but I've never seen us lose there. I go back to 1971 when we won a FA cup QF

Presuming that Pearson and Gooch are missing and Bae will be rested:
Iverson
Hoever Rose McNally Stevens
Thompson Laurent Baker
Manhoef Ennis Haksabanovic

I'd start Vidigal or even Mmaee instead of Haks, he's done fuck all all season. Or stick Ennis out left for his work rate with Mmaee in the middle. And didn't AN use Laurent as a sort of a DM at times? He's got to be better than Thompson... I'd rather have Cundle on.

Losing this one which I think we will puts a lot of pressure on for the Huddersfield game. Be nice to come away with something just to keep out of the bottom 3.

He's going to try something different here I reckon, with Burger, Pearson and Gooch missing, plus I can't see Stevens coming straight back in. I reckon some kind of 4-5-1, 3-6-1 hybrid where we might just try and flood the middle of the pitch. Can't see it being pretty.
Iversen Leris Rose McNally Hoever Baker Thompson Laurent Bae Mmaee Ennis
Can't see us getting anything to be honest. Burger is a huge miss and Pearson not even able to replace him is just a nightmare.

He played CB at Leicester away I’d have him as most defensive centre mid out of what we have

We need energy and running. I'd have Leris and Ennis in, purely for that as they don't do much else! Mmaee to play as the lead striker I think.
Iversen - Hoever Rose McNally Stevens? - Thompson Laurent Baker - Ennis Mmaee Leris
Burger is a big miss but hopefully he (and Bae) having a rest will really boost us for the must win game v Huddersfield on Monday.

That would mean playing Cundle instead, which I did put originally and then shivered...

This. The big one’s Huddersfield no point in risking players in a game we’re going to lose what ever the side. If we pick a side with lots of energy and running we’ve got a better chance of scraping a point. I’d also look at giving Sidibe a game.

Hull mid-table on the form guide having drawn 4 of their last 5 games.
I would be happy with a point, but Hull are below Preston in current form so no reason not to hope for a win.

With the personnel available, and my firm view that our best front 3 has not been on the pitch together yet-
Iversen wilmot rose mcnally Leris laurent baker hoever Manhoef Mmaee vidigal
That front 3 need to show what they can do. I genuinely believe there's a half decent player in all 3 of them and they just need managing properly. I think this is a tough game and one i expect us to lose.
We may as well do it with a balanced looking side (ish) and at least looking like we might want to win.

Expecting a bit of a kicking in this one as I thought that they were brilliant when they came down the 365 earlier in the season, I would take a point now.
Huddersfield on Monday will be massive.
